Thanks for showing the tech features and electrical stuff 😂 we went to so many toyotas and they don’t have the hybrid model on display and even the display ones they don’t allow you to turn on (unlike how you turned it on here). We went to one recently because they said they had the HEV one and we could check it out before making a reservation… that turned out to be a joke, the sales agent said “they’re just taking it down” so we did the reservation first… after the reservation was done suddenly they said “it was just here a moment ago, but they took it to display somewhere else for a few hours” 😂😂😂 I told my parents they should have checked the car first before negotiating the offer. After visiting 6 toyota branches, we haven’t seen even the shadow of this HEV variant 😅 I still haven’t seen the sunroof in person haha

What is the curb weight of the hybrid variant vs the other two variants? I think no reviewer has mentioned this. The brochure does not show the figures either if I'm not mistaken.

Sojoo is so amazed that an entry Toyota comes with so many 21st century toys and more quality feel coming from a Daihatsu. Well that is also the benefit when a non-Toyota built the car for them - affordability. I too will be amazed. Curious only if it will age beautifully like a true Toyota. So far, the Yaris Cross will be the sole DNGA I can possibly consider as my next car.

I still think Japanese cars are more superior than Chinese ones. The dependability, ease of parts and of course safety is top notch among Japanese cars.

We may didn't get the TNGA-based Yaris Cross but glad Toyota PH did a great job equipping the DNGA-based Yaris Cross with decent features and even the base models are not "tinipid" and they are decent IMO. Hope to see you review the other variants as well Joo. I'm glad to be commenting here in a while as I was too busy with other stuff. Great video as always!

Siir Joo sana masagot mo d masagot ng mga agent may LOW SPEED FOLLOW ( traffic jam assist ) bayan sir, Saka yung V variant my TSS din yun pero nkalagay may Acc pero hindi malinaw kung included ang lsf or parng brv vx na may acc pero pag high speed lang at walang low speed follow, thank you sir joo

yaris cross is somewhat a "more complete" corolla cross hybrid bcoz of its sun roof 😅 that is, if someone is willing to trade off better HP

It is not a sun roof. Sun roof opens glass roof doesn't.

It depends on what you want honestly. The sweet spot is the mid variant. I bought the hev one since I like the sunroof and using ev mode to park and get out garage sure is nice and quiet.

Savings wise (on fuel), you'll recover the cost difference in 8-9 years (1 full tank a week). But there are other features (glass roof, auto tailgate, etc). I believe that's where most of the extra cost go
