I had an XC60 T8 plug in as a courtesy car (usual car is a D3 V40). I had an Astra VXR up my arse through a residential area (30mph). When the speed limit went up to 60mph, the astra moved out to overtake. I floored the XC60 (up to the speed limit, of course). The Astra driver was embarrassed, shell shocked, and a bit angry. His pride and joy hot hatch was shit on by a two tonne lump.

Perfect in quarter mile. But if they compete in more than quarter of a mile l, Volvo will definitely lose due to speed limiter (180 km/h).☹️ Btw happy Volvo XC60 owner here

@@SandroKohler Not Really..400e is 382hp combined with 650nm and 200+kg heavier..Power Figures more near to T6 although heavier. T8 should compete with some of the AMG line I assume..

@@filip8013 depends on how you want to compare them. If you want the race to be as close as possible just with regards to tech stats, you're absolutely right. However if you want to compare car specs in the same price range, then any AMG model is far more expensive than the T8. At least in most European countries, you would compare 300e to T6 and Audi Q5 50 TFSIe and then you would compare 400e, T8 and Q5 55 TFSIe.

@@SandroKohler 300e is also more expensive than T6, you always have to pay the premium of Mercedes. I will agree with you regarding the price range difference.. it is a matter of perspective finally. 🙂
