@@HermanWillems Ev space is quite tough right now for any new entrants.. but apple has the cash to go in unlike many start ups who are struggling to keep up with price war, but Apple could afford to do that with the billions of $ they have in free cashflows. Eventually everyone will move to EVs, and the potential is huge. The have their phone brand and apple services for which natural progression was to get into smart cars expanding their Apple ecosystem. They backed off just coz they could not get a full self driving car which sounds bonkers to me. They should have launched an EV with minimal FSD to begin with.

This EV has a range of 497 miles. With a starting price of 28K this is not bad for the money. China also has EVs that provides ranges of over 600 miles. But unfortunately like highspeed bullet train technology which is also, (fully electric), these advanced EVs are not available in the United States of America. If thy were not only would i have one sitting in my driveway right now, they would also give the American EV owners a real reason to boast the EV. If china can come out with an EV that provides short downtimes and long range, there's absolutely no reason why the United States of America can't. I would love to buy an EV but first they have to improve them. Till then I'll take gas and keep my jaguar XJL. This provides me with a range of 570 miles and paid off at 41K, a large full size luxury automobile. With the more than 6,000 miles of traveling i do every year, i just cant use a car that is equipped with a short and shitty range, gas or electric. Improve the EV and im all in. For now I'll keep my jaguar XJl and leave well enough alone...
