This SUV is one of the prettiest and nicest SUVs out there - but it has one huge downside, and that is being UNDERPOWERED... You want something with more punch? Type S is there, costs 75k and it gives you a whole lot of fun with 6.4seconds to 60mph acceleration... yes, I am sarcastic... WAY UNDERPOWERED!!! Anyone looking at this model, type-s or non-type S, check out BMW X5 40 (6cyl twin scroll turbo engine)... with GERMAN 335hp it eats any MDX version for breakfast.

Not true ! Sam Car Legion did a comparison test between a 22 MDX Type S vs a 21 - 22 BMW X5 and the Type S beat it in acceleration hands down.

Type S 5.5 sec. Current X5 claims 375hp and is a bit quicker but $10k more expensive fully loaded
