I used to own a 2018 Tucson... it was my first Hyundai vehicle in my many decades driving. I was very impressed with the 2018 Tucson and I loved it... then the 2022 Tucson came out, and I was so impressed "I had to have it"... I went and ordered a 2022 Tucson Hybrid, but at the time, they were hard to get and by the time my number came up, I got a 2023 Tucson Hybrid... and I love it! Now i'm seeing the 2025 Tucson and, oh-no, I'm getting that feeling again... I love all the changes in the 2025 Tucson facelift over the previous version. But, unlike going from a 2018 to 2022/23 Tucson... it would be silly to go from a 2023 to a 2025... mine is still new! I'll probably skip for realistic financial reasons, but Hyundai is knocking it out of the park and making me want to buy new ones every release!

I have the same feeling, I bought it 4 months ago it’s no reasoning to go from 2022 to 2025. On the other hand I feel a bit down to see so drastically update on the car feeling unfair for the consumers

@samantiful I certainly know the feeling... I love, absolutely love my 2023 Tucson Hybrid... but if I could wave a magic wand and change 3 things, it would be 1) add built-in wireless AA/ACP (I currently use a wireless adapter) 2) add some knobs to the infotainment center 3) change the placement of the phone charger to someplace I can actually see it And what do you know... they did all three of those in the 2025 face-lift. I do love my car, and I've only had it a year so too soon to trade in... but yeah... I'm officially jealous of the 2025 model.

As an owner of a 2020 Tucson, i agree, I loved it way more than i thought and i love using it as a daily more than my 330i G20. Tho I have the 2.0 Diesel with 8-speed torque converter and the combo is part of the reason i loved the Tucson.

Pre-facelift Tucson came out real nice, there is no need to switch over to this one if you have one already :) If this comforts you in any way, it will be at least another six months minimum for this to reach other parts of the globe.

You asked in another comment how Korean cars are doing in Poland. Korean cars have an increasingly stronger position here in Poland. Last year, KIA took 3rd place in the number of cars sold. Hyundai is in 5th position. It's a pity that Hyundai doesn't offer a built-in camera 2.0 in European versions of its new cars. Greetings from Poland!!!!

I bought a 2013 Hyundai Tucson brand new. The transmission died with 50K miles on it. Luckily, it didn't cost me anything because it was still under warranty. I didn't buy another one because of that.

Been looking for a review of the next gen Tucson and hey presto - this one came up! Love to hear how the Plug In Hybrid stacks up. Currently in a Ford Kuga SUV but want to move away from the CVT gearbox, so I am looking at alternatives. Narrowed my choices down to the next gen Hyundai Tucson, the next gen Kia Sportage, and the next gen VW Tiguan.

Does the sunroof open front and back or only front ? It have Smart Parking Assistant like Ioniq 5 that parks outside the car pressing the remote ? When you change from Normal to Sports mode, can you hear any sound diference, more aggressive in Sport mode like 2022 Kona N ? Thanks for the reviews videos !!

Only the front, there's no rear sunroof, it just stretches out real far back. Yes, you can pull the car in & out with Tucson when you have the feature. No dramatic sound difference compared to N, but rpm and car's response changes overall.

I hope in the US we get FWD with the 8-speed transmission. I have personal experience with the DCT and it is very jerky in city driving. I like the engine because (in the US anyway) it is both direct AND port injected, keeps those valves clean. I think the 25's will be available this summer, but you'll have to pay full price till all the 24's are gone.

Hello! I will be a new customer of an Tucson New Model, 1,6 TGDI 1.6, 160cp , mild hybrid, 7 DCT. The car will arrive probably in July. Please tell me how to drive with the 7DCT. In my research on the internet, I find that at a stop sign change it to N, and then when you live change it to drive and so on. Also a I find out that with autohold the gearshift it’s forced and clutch will be damaged with time. I want to know how do you drive this DCT. Thank you in advance.

Are you sure you are getting 7 dct? Seems like the NA market has been getting 8spd automatic and will also be for this model.

Don’t put your car into Neutral unless you are switching gears. That is the old time tale, techs have advanced much then, just drive it as you would normally, but just be sure not to be stepping on the gas on an uphill at low speed. You should either be accelerating or braking on an uphill. Except for the uphills, you shouldn’t worry too much about it.

Hybrid do not have point. If you count price about 2500 bigger than fuel version, you have to drive 75000 km to get your money back. After that you will get about 3€/100km discount. So no sence

It'd be far more difficult to find such Tucson that does it before 5 years + 100,000km. HMG cars are quite reliable these days.

I am curious if the PHEV model has a changed towing capacity. The current model has a capacity of 1350kg (in the Netherlands) . It would be great if this will be upgraded to say 1500kg.

Heavily depends on your driving style and road conditions, but you will easily see it above 600km+

For old model price start at 26000, so my guess would be 24000 eur at your location. Most i want to know old vs new price change. I hope that would be +2500/3000 eur. This would be acceptible price, so mhev nline would cost up to 40000 from 37000 old model

How many years at $3 a gallon does it take to recover the added Hybrid upfront costs plus the 25-40% added extra insurance costs ( innNY that’s near 360$ a year extra ins )

Didn't use your numbers, but it mostly takes about two years on an average for hybrids mpg to exceed to price gap - rough estimate.

You'd have to check that with your local dealership. It's been some time Korea didn't get a manual for Tucson.

As I know, dry dct is developed for sport cars, even formula before the sequential, for speed. So, for example, on the most fast version of Kia Forte named gt, and let's say its counterpart CEED in EU, this 7 speed dry dct is just great, for speedy circling and on highway, because they are more lower cars and chassis is made sporty, and in symbiosis with dct transmission. Dct in general is for speed, and theoretically dry version shifts faster than the wet version, but these systems are really so complicatedly and to some degree of perfection engineered, that it is one broad field of new systems development, so at some point you could truly neglect the acceleration on different ones, wet and dry, and etc. That said, the SUV's, no matter how much as sporty they are made, and built with lots of power, their geometry will never give the fast wind-resist beauty of lower and truly sport cars, and I have to point this is subjective thought. Great comment, thanks for sharing! It is true that 7spd dry DCT was made in-house by HMG and is one of the first one for them to make. There sure is a room for improvement, but the latest 8spd wet DCT and automatics are amazing!

26:25 I think USA also gets Bose. In Europe we got Krell, which is great to be honest. I really like it and in my opinion it's better than the Bose I have tested in the Ioniq 6.

you can easily covert that with online calculators. 9 km/l is somewhere about 11 l/100km

Same as kia sportage 2019 it eat abour 11 in city trafic and about 9 outside city. On my 65k avetage is 11/100km

@@TitasPetkevicius That is a lot. According to other people this tucson with 150hp mild hybrid should have consumption somewhere around 8 l/100km

This car will be available in june I suppose. Some countries car model year changes in the midyear. 2025 model year comes out june 2024. For other countries model year changes in january. When I asked dealers in my country, they said facelift models will be on sale during the second half of the year. I don't know if it is only in my country, you should ask your local dealers
