2025 Suzuki Jimny Sierra - The Best 4x4 Hybrid SUV?
Suzuki has recently announced a significant price reduction for the Jimny Sierra 3-door SUV in Brazil, with discounts reaching up to R$ 20,000. Despite these cuts, the vehicle's mechanics and features remain unchanged. Buyers can now save up to R$ 20,000 (approximately Rs 3.18 lakh in Indian currency), depending on the variant. This follows a similar price revision by Mitsubishi for its 3-door Jimny in Brazil.
The Jimny Sierra is available in five variants, each with new pricing. The base variant, 2025 Jimny Sierra 4YOU AllGRIP 1.5 MT, now costs R$ 142,990, down from R$ 162,990. The 2025 Jimny Sierra 4YOU ALLGRIP 1.5 AT is priced at R$ 159,990, a reduction of R$ 13,000. The 2025 Jimny Sierra 4SPORT ALLGRIP 1.5 AT is now R$ 174,990, previously R$ 187,990. The 2025 Jimny Sierra 4STYLE ALLGRIP 1.5 AT has been reduced by R$ 12,000, making it available at R$ 191,990, down from R$ 203,990. The top-spec 2025 Jimny Sierra 4EXPEDITION ALLGRIP 1.5 AT is now priced at R$ 206,990, a drop from R$ 218,990.
Suzuki is also offering an EMI scheme with a minimum down payment of R$ 88,030, followed by 35 instalments of R$ 1,899, with a final instalment of R$ 36,627.
Mechanically, the Jimny Sierra remains powered by a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine that produces 108 hp and 138 Nm of torque. It is paired with either a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic gearbox. The ALLGRIP Pro 4X4 system ensures the vehicle can easily navigate various terrains.
The Jimny Sierra is available in eight different colors. Inside, it features a leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio and other controls, leatherette seats, a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment display, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, a JBL sound system, Wi-Fi connectivity, and cruise control. Safety features include hill descent control, an electronic stability program, ABS with EBD, a brake override system, a brake assist system, and a rear camera.
