While the original version only produced 32bhp, we expect a modern water-cooled motor with equivalent fuel injection to produce more than 40bhp. The 550 will easily hit the 50bhp mark, which is enough to jump over cows and cruise down bumpy B roads

The only new bike I ever bought was a 1981 Yamaha XT500. MMY712W Reg. It was a FANTASTIC bike, gold rims, the James Bond bike, I loved it. Happy days. 😊

The Honda CL 500 is an ugly bike, if Yamaha make this bike it will be the bike of all trades my personal bike of choice is the CRF 300 but I’d seriously consider the XT500 ( first bike I ever got on the back of ) 🙏
