For me RDR 2 is absolute champion among these game. Amount of the emotions which RDR2 can create into someone for fictional character like is Arthur Morgan is unbeatable. Its masterpiece of gaming industry into every possible way.

I would recommend GOW, What Remains of Edith Finch, Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Portal 2, Walking Dead season 1, Wolf Among Us, Tales from the Borderlands, Bioshock, Disco Elysium, Cyberpunk 2077 & it's dlc, BDG 3, Life is Strange True Colours, Undertale, Marvels Guardians of the Galaxy, Immortality, Firewatch, Nier: Automata, Alan Wake 2, Dishonored 1 & 2, Prey, Titanfall 2 campaign, Psychonauts 2, Dead Space, FF9, MGS 3, Hades, Grim Fandango, Fallout: New Vegas, Red Dead Redemption, Plague Tale Requieum, Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart, Returnal, Star Wars Fallen Order & Jedi Survivor. Personally, i wouldn't include games i haven't played or dislike nor games that have yet to come out, we can only hope Bloober doesn't change anything major in the Silent Hill 2 story. Nice list, man.

@Hanzz_ejett For me personally, I loved the tone, the atmosphere, and the characters you come across. What games do you typically play? I would recommend sticking with it. You will most likely come to love it or, at the least, enjoy it. The payoff is chef's kiss. Hopefully, it hasn't been spoiled for you. At the end of the day, it may not be for you. If you're a younger gamer or one who favours more fast paced gaming it may come across as slow. I played it when released years back & it has always stuck with me as a most worthy game for lists such as this & a game i kept in my collection which i play from time to time.

Witcher 2 has so good storyline too. I like how kingslayer story was implemented, first you want nothing more than to kill the villain, but at the end I never killed him in my 15 time completion record.

some mentions to games like AC 1 2 3 4:BF , Mafia 1 2 3 defenitve editions , Shadow of the tomb raider , Far Cry 3-4, CyberPunk 2077 but its more like trying to make things happen to get rid of virus, Even COD campaigns, some of them are quite good.

just finished FC3 main story and all side tasks after 45h and yeah, game is pretty solid with almost 0 flaws just some bugs, maybe not typical story game but yeah. The other games u mention are w8ing in my steam library to play :D But i finished the previous tomb raider and story was meh

I’ve played RDR2 8 times and i never get bored through the story. I’ve had 30 knee surgeries staring when I was 11 and still having them now and I’m 24 so I’ve had a lot of time to play lmao

DBH is soooooo underrated. I dont understand why not many people play it. The story is incredible, the game is one of the best graphically, even on my 7900 xt at 1440UW it can barely avg 60fps in some areas. The fact that theres hundreds of different scenarios is incredible.

I can understand why AC ODYSSEY is not on here mainly because it is not a “GUY” game but as a female, I absolutely LUV the stories, the time in history, all of the scenery and the dialogue that comes with playing as Kassandra. Plus, although you obviously need to kill quite a bit to advance…there are MANY times where you can just relax, drink some wine (talking about me 😉) and soak up the atmosphere and enjoy side quests with limited fighting.

Making greatest STORY games list without including Mafia serial is criminal. I know it is a bit older game, but latest Mafia I deluxe edition has i all, great graphic, incredible storytelling, and in my opinion greatest story ever in games history, gameplay is not that great as new AAA games, but storywise, I haben't seen a game on this list that has it better.

Witcher 3 is definitely a masterpiece-such a rich world and compelling story! And good call on Fallout 4, it’s a solid choice with its deep customization and expansive world. I'll keep that in mind for future lists.

batman arkham knight is a masterpiece the graphics are way ahead of it's time it was released in 2015 and it still looks good till now it got better graphics, gameplay and story than marvels spiderman imo the best superhero game ever played
