Ever asked yourself how to pronounce "Jaeger-LeCoultre", "Cartier" or "Louis Vuitton" - well, me too 😄 That's why I sat down and put together a list of popular EU (luxury) brands or companies and how to correctly pronounce them!
Brands mentioned
0:00 Intro
0:17 A. Lange & Söhne
0:50 Adidas
1:12 Audi
1:38 Aldi
1:58 Audemars Piguet
2:18 Blancpain
2:40 Breitling
2:58 Birkenstock
3:20 Cartier
3:52 Deutsche Bank
4:09 Glashütte Original
4:29 Hublot
4:46 Jaeger-LeCoultre
5:09 Lidl
5:22 Longines
5:42 Louis Vuitton
6:10 Mercedes Benz
6:41 Patek Philippe
7:03 Porsche
7:24 Rolex
7:44 Volkswagen
Which one of these do you find the most difficult to pronounce? I sure had my problems with Jaeger-Lecoultre, Hublot and Blancpain 😅!
Thank you for watching!
Jenni ❤️

Great video, one little detail, I might be wrong but I believe you misspronounced Skoda , it starts with a Š sound in slavic languages, which is SCH in German like S in Sport. Also, fun fact, in Czech language, if written with small letter š, it mean damage or loss or injury, like Schaden in German :) Love your channel, keep up the great work!

Hi, for jeager I disagree, because the family and edmond jeager himself came from Alsace.. And the Alsace prononciation for '' jaeger '' is in fact like the '' hunter '' in German, so you. Prononcé it like the jeager in German 😉 most horrible is nowboby looks fit the story of the family of edmond jeager.. Thzr is the real answer, but in Paris, they all sayd it like French style and certainly himself, but in the origin it is jeager prononced like your mother tale 😉

Great video! I definitely learned some things (I was 100% pronouncing the first part of Jaeger Lecoultre as as if it was German). Minor correction: the “g” in Longines is definitely not silent. It simply makes a soft “j” sound like in the word bonjour, rather than a hard “g” sound like in the word “gift”.

it's actually "skoda" in german... "shcoda" is in czech as the brand Skoda is originally founded in Czech Republic, also known as Czechia and then bought by the german brand Volkswagen, so technically she's not wrong.
