I was hoping they'd show the script stone he cut a year or two ago. That was a great specimen.

I fell in love with JTV back when I was around 15 (that's 2005). I just fell in love with the knowledge that I learned from the hosts, my favorite was always Dawn. Now JTV rarely shows parcels or loose gemstones. But that's how I fell in love with gemstones as a teenager! Learned so much back when. 💚

There's another rare pattern. It's The Rarest opal in my opinion: The Star Opal, only found in Idaho, can be found in many body colors and can have three or six rays of light in all colors! This opal is super cool to see in person!

For that, look up Black Opal Direct's KZfaq channel. Justin makes some great videos, and showcases some amazing opals! He also sells the ones he cuts in his livestreams.

Can you do an episode on Ethiopian black Opals and Ethiopian Opals in general? Not a lot of people know that Ethiopian black Opals occur naturally in a specific region of Ethiopia.

Thank you very much! Now I know the name of that combination It was FERN (blue and green) What a combination, this gemstone is very important for me, apart from being beautiful, it reminds me of lucilia sericata (that fly that rounds meat)

Hello. Is Ammolite technically opal? Or it doesn't have the spheres going on, and is a totally different stone?? Cz, As I understand it, as a layman, is that ammonite, is a fossil shell, from an animal, millions of years ago. The animal dies, the tissue decays, but the shell structure remains, that leaves the cavities inside the shell. Over time the cavities fill with different minerals, sometimes crystals, sometimes, I imagine, would have to be opal, no? ....... So, then, why has Ammolite been able to copyright this name, 'Ammolite'? Is it a unique stone, or does the copyright read, 'opal that comes from ammonite shell' ? Something like that. ..... Is it even a copyright, or trademark maybe? Idk the difference. I know they named it, and they own it, the family that started it. It seems like it's a product, akin to Hematite being sold as Alaskan Black Diamond, or included amethyst as Super 7. .. I guess I need a video, lol. peace

Informative. But what’s wrong of her spine ? She twists a lot from neck to pelvis, it’s quite distractive, very sorry about this.
