Unbelievable that 43 years have passed. I was a regular at Elland Road 65-75. What a magical decade that was.

Fair play to Greenhoff for getting up (27.07) so quickly after being kicked in the face. Imagine that now!

I remember as a boy hating Leeds, but not for being dirty cheaters. Looking back at these old matches, I believe more than ever that narrative was bunk, perpetuated by mere repetition of their jealous competitors. Leeds' control and pace were both extraordinary, and had good depth into their reserves. In this match, Man U did an excellent job of frustrating a superior team. The EPL matches of today aren't worth the ticket prices, not even close.

Probably one of Manchester United's best performances that season seeing as they got relegated at the end of it.

More enjoyable than most six goal thrillers in today's Premier League... Good job by Man U to contain the mighty Leeds machine. Stepney excellent, only other player from that team of Leeds quality was Martin Buchan. Great battle between Greenhoff and Bremner.

Between 1969 and 1974, Leeds United was the best football team in British football.

In the days of proper football, loved this era , some great players , playing with passion and a spirit lacking in today's games....hard tackling,...muddy pitches,...and an atmosphere that was both stirring and inspiring....great times

Just wondering can anyone explain why the Leeds pitch was so far away at one end, from the stands, always thought this strange.

George Buchan, never knew he came south with his brother & my surname also & at least people learned how to spell it & that includes Scotland also! Great to see this great team & a former great team & there's a lot of clickty clackty typing goin' on in background, probably Docherty typing out transfer letters & the odd love note..

Man Utd in this game were the first team that season to take a point off Leeds as they'd won every game up to then

Wow, What an array of talent on show on both sides. And all with household names us Brits could pronounce. Surely the sleeping giant that is the great Leeds Utd will, one day, awake from it's long slumber and shake up the establishment again! Until then, one can only look back and reminisce! C'mon Leeds, wake up!!!!
