Incredible solo by Dave and his Wayne guitar.. Most people don't know but Dave has been a long time fan of Wayne guitars and has used them for at least 13 years that I know of for sure.. If you've never played one I suggest you do.. There's truly nothing that's close IMHO...

I play both dave and Adrian solos in a tribute and daves over all are the hardest, its not the fast ones always a lot of his slow ones are arranged in a way thats on the up beat and down beat at odd times on the album

no pienso igual. toco los solos de adrian smith en made in arg. y los de murray son mucho mas faciles. son rapidos, pero nada mas, hammer on, pull off. adrian tiene feel, adrian sabe a que nota pegarle, en el momento justo. adrian tiene la magia que ni dave, ni janick tienen. y es mas dificil tocar bien y preciso, que tocar rapido y quedar mal. los solos de adrian estan bien estructurados, tienen sus tensiones, sus momentos relajantes. es un maestro. me encanta murray, y tambien toco sus solos. pero son mucho mas faciles y predecibles. algunos carecen de feel. ultimamente abusa mucho del sus tecnicas principales, y queda mal parado en muchos solos. caso contrario el de adrian, como un buen vino, mientras mas viejo, mejor toca, mas lindo, increible, siempre especial, siempre improvisando finales, siempre haciendote llegar al cielo. adrian, lejos, el mejor guitarrista de iron maiden.

AUGUST 30th, 2015: I am of the opinion that, "22 Acacia Avenue" is the heaviest, most brutal song ever written by IRON MAIDEN. I know it's 33 years old but it still KILLS. Not even Nicko McBrain can fuck it up and that's saying something about the quality of the song! Love ya Nicko, but step up your game dude.

I can enjoy softer music like Dylan or Springsteen but sometimes when im listening to a slower and softer tune i feel myself getting bored, so i look up this video and it never disapoints. I love how at the end when talking about anyone who wants to record their preview of Dance of Death (they performed after this which you’ll see the announcement in the last minute of the video) that they don’t care. Bruce literally said, “if you want to post it everywhere, as long as you buy a copy when it released, we don’t give a f*ck!” That goes completely against the rules in a live performance but he was fine with it! That is why we love Iron Maiden, they love their fans, they have so much character, and they make the best music!

Dave Murray never can play a live solo as the original song in studio, he's a improvise player, but it's sad, because fans want to hear the original solos the best players can do, i want!! If you listen the solo in studio version and this is so different. Adrian is of another level, he can play the right notes, and play very well and much close as the original song.

Same! One is attached to the original studio version solo (and everything), if you wanna change, don’t change a lot, or at least make something melodically and emotionally near to the original! Adrian sometimes do the same sometimes but lesser! They are all great, but for me the studio version is the base and what the band really wants, and what you hear and are attached first and the most! A great example, the solos of Phantom of the Opera in the live versions by Murray, it’s so different and somehow distorted (deformed) and less affectionate and affective than the original! Some of their live versions are great, but some aren’t! Even Vocally it’s the same thing! Don’t change a lot, otherwise the song is different and you’ll lose its identity! The base line, drums, riffs, bridges, switches are great studio and live often, but vocals and solos sometimes aren’t that much idk 🤷! In the end, as you said they want something different a bit (a lot actually 😜), and its artistic choice! When you love something a lot, sometimes it disappoints you at least a few times
