i beleive cadet salutes are all the same, thats how we salute in air

The Canadian military used to salute with open palm forwards (except the navy), that was until unification in 1968 when all the branches switched to open palm salute downwards (naval salute).

@@Canadian-Asian-dude Oh. I see. I wonder why they can’t bring it back if they brought back the older officer ranks and the traditional names of the services. I was on the USMC. Even the modern day Canadian army kind of looks like the US Army. From a distance.

@@Canadian-Asian-dude another thing I noticed is what happened to the sailor uniform? A lot of people in my unit were saluting all Canadian sailors because they didn’t know who was an officer or not.
