The Royal Canadian Army Cadet's ranks and structure. This video will briefly explain the star system, and all Army Cadet ranks.

There have been changes to the system. Here are the following noted changes:
1) The rank of Private has been changed to the rank of Lance Corporal (as of 2010)
2) The National Star Certification Examination (NSCE) has been replaced with the National Star of Excellence (NSC).
Want to join the Royal Canadian Army Cadets? The requirements to join the Royal Canadian Sea/Army/Air Cadets are as follows:
1. Be a Canadian citizen;
2. Be between the ages 12 - 18; and
3. Have a valid Provincial Healthcare Insurance Plan.

The songs played in the video are as follows in order:
1. Scotland the Brave, the official march of the Royal Canadian Army Cadets.
2. The Lincolnshire Poacher, the Regimental march of The Lincoln and Welland Regiment. This is my local regiment.
3. The Maple Leaf Forever, the Regimental march of The Queen's Own Rifles of Canada, and The Royal Westminster Regiment. I choose this song because it is very well known and not for its regimental affiliation.
