Someone requested a video showing the linkage on the 22R Asain Carb. This is a basic video showing the linkage, vacuum hoses and other mechanics of this carburetor.

Thanks I wonder if the choke plate on drivers side is suppose to open when the engine excellerates. Mine is not opening.

Be careful, my carb hasn't been the same since I did a rebuild. I'll admit, was a bit over my head at the time. Some of those diaphragms are little wacky. I'd do some heavy research first. Maybe check out: www.yotatech.com/forums/f114/aisan-carb-rebuild-kit-271185/ Good luck!

Do you happen to know what # is on the carburetor I’d plate? I believe they have several depending on what transmission the truck has as well as emissions and whether it has air conditioning. That may be some helpful information to put in the title or description. I am looking to find out where the vacuum lines for a 35410carburetor goes no ac 4 speed truck. Most of the ones on the truck had been removed and I was looking to see where the ones connected to the carb run to. Any information is greatly appreciated.

@@IsaacDozier1 No problem. It looks very similar to mine. Do you happen to know why they are different. I believe my truck is not the California model, it has no A/C, and it has the g40 manual transmission. The original carb was taken off because it was not operational. It currently has one which is not correct so the choke never kicks off and it has a few other issues too. At the very start of the video it appears the the electric choke wire on yours has the green square plug like mine. I’ve read they changed from one connector to another sometime after starting production of the 1988 pickup. Thank you for getting back to me. I’m not certain everything will be identical but it will at least give me a solid direction to head in.

Seems like you're at least on the right track. My best guess without any research... Each number may correspond to the default factory settings, based on location where the vehicle is sold. Denver vs. LA, for example.

@@IsaacDozier1 that may be the case. It may indicate let sizes or something. I have saw some with extra pieces mounted to the side but maybe the later number indicate jetting and/or factory information. Thanks again for your help.
