After test-driving all common brands Hyundai, Toyota, and Tata no compact SUV can come close to the performance of the Volkswagen Taigun GT on the highway. Unless you drive this car on the highway, you won't understand the quality of drive this car offers. The only exception is the Jeep Compass. But I chose Taigun GT because Jeep Compass is a fuel guzzler.

I appreciate the owner knowledge as VW had past history tells n forget the present ...i think he is first tm VW owner he dnt kn real VW quality hd in d past n hw compromised ..Bai it's nt cbu unit ...as experience VW owner it's out in the game as present. Competition it's nt at all in the competition in all aspects it's only 70% quality of VW group ...no point in value propositions only i give thumps 100 up for engine ....dnt buy quality is nt on VW standards

I having Taigun 1.0 topline from last two years, Now there is a engine noise from last five to six months, when I ask it to service centre, they said that the fuel pressure pump is failed .. Even after changing the fuel pressure pump, the noise is still there. 😖 The noise is very bad and it feels like I am driving a diesel car

In 1.0 TSI , we need to top up engine oil after 5K running . we shouldnt wait for 15K complete . every 5K , kindly do engine oil top up .

The biggest problem with the twin Germans are there service, In India they have not invested there time n money to there service team, secondly people in India can compramise with driving dynamics but wants peace of a mind machine, I have a diesel amaze its been 5years clocked 1.40L km its just ready to go machine, regular maintenance which cost around 6k every 10000 km

@@sambhavarora1983 bhai, koi nvh nahi, koi suspension problem nahi, koi engine problem nahi, koi pillar ka problem nhi, han paint main problem hai thodi ab, and what you can expact after driving 3 lakh? engine works smooth, agar yeh build quality main 5 star hoti, toh pkka main toh 10 lakh chla leta. chla hi rha hoon abhi....

@@sambhavarora1983 and more important, problems nhi ayi ke mujhe bar bar service center jana pde, aisa nahi hota maruti main. (not a fan of maruti because their cars are safety compromised) but these cars works for longer period of time without any issue.

@@jeetsingh4158 Sir i have also owned maruti for a really long period, they are okay just till 50,000km only, pillar mei se awaz aajati hai, body poori hil jati hai unki and i dont feel this is a good thing; its a compromise on the name of safety,luxury,trust. Normal injector of a honda city is of 2500 each and i had ciaz i bought it of only 120 rs; they use cheap parts thats why they are not that expensive; maruti wont offer quality ever

In case Seltos facelift gets 4+ safety rating, Vw and Skoda will wash off. Trust me driving Seltos 1.5 dct turbo petrol is a pleasure. It’s similar to DSG and initial pickup is far better then these german cars. I had skoda kushaq but trust me service is a big time pain. Big time! Go for vw and skoda only if you need a good driving experience otherwise you will regret.

As you said ‘getting a good driving experience’ go for VW thank you sir for your kind words but DCT is ‘similar’ to DSG but not the fully fledged DSG originality level . They both are good in their own markets/ league but my personal opinion is for VW over any other Japanese/ Korean / Italian (Fiat engines) or any Indian brands. I respect your opinion sir Thankyou for your lovely comment. Will always be answerable to my all viewers ❤️🙏😇

@@arjunnathan3680 Chassis is same everywhere. Only difference was that in other countries they used Sp2 structure and In India they used Sp2i . In sp2, they have used ultra strength steel and In sp2i they didnot use Ultra strength steel. This is the reason, it got 5 star in other countries.I had a word with Technical team from Kia side. They have added Ultra strength steel in B pillars and have done some restructuring to support Sunroof this time.Forget the Structure, they now have 6 airbags and ISO fix from base model. This will automatically raise 1 star. So 4 star is guaranteed. Talking about other things, Kia has been trolled over years and a-lot of sales have been dropped. Kia has a great R&D team . They know it very well that if they don’t perform good in crash test this time, they will be out of indian market forever. Yes they had tried to fool Indian earlier but at that time people were not aware. Today it’s difficult to fool people. Remember when Polo was launched it had got 1 start but over time they fixed the problems . People go to youtube, search for Kia and start talking about safety. 90% of them either can’t afford it or just talk illogical.

@@Winzrfuldear Frnd safety matter for u aswell as for our family. So judge when u buy. Am a owner of Maruti and VW aswell. See safety and safe car don't give a guarantee that u will survive in a crash but it increases your chances of survival. And reason why Germans sell less car is because they focus on quality and Korians focus on quantity and features. And we Indians get tempted on features. So be rational

@@avishek5081 IMO you can loose your life or get injured in many ways other than a car eg. Heart disease. Car safety (5 star) is only relevent if you don't ever travel on bikes/scooty, ola/uber, if you don't ever cross the road etc.. In short if you live an absolute car to carpet lifestyle. So buy a car which you love to drive and enjoy, also the one which you can afford without falli g into debt trap.

Do u know Hyundai sells 3 star rated car India and sells 4 start rated car in Indonesia why? Coz Hyundai don't value our lives and we don't care to demand safe car. Anyway it's ur way of thinking I don't wanna debate. Everybody has their own priority of life. Have a safe drive and be safe.
