Nobody had their best years as a teenager, this is pure feefee's before thinkthinks. For a start, you are chemically unbalanced so mood is impossible to regulate. On top of that you have no experience making addictions and impulses impossible to deal with effectively, and psycological damage is severe because everything you experience literally is the best or worst thing that's ever happened to you. You also must balance work, obligations, and new experiences while also lacking the knowledge to know if it's worth dedicating your life to anything you feel like you should or have been straight up told to. Add in social media, changing gender dynamics, rapid economic destabalization. Ain't nobody able to use these years properly. It's all stacked against you. Bro, they're still in the tutorial, give em a break grandpa.

I appreciate the fact that half of these life lessons I've been already taught by my father; Maturity, patience, learning etc. But after starting self improvement (3 months in currently), I've noticed that the relatively subtle difference I had with most of my peers has now become more apparent. I feel overall better, my mental health is at its best (practicing stoicism + meditation) and other self improvement aspects. I cannot be more grateful for stumbling upon your channel. I would personally like to thank you and also my father, who led me to the beginning of my journey. The date I'm writing this I'm 14 and I'm looking forward to a bright, successful and enjoyable fututre

Reading these comments I see that there are a lot of very young men working on themselves which is very reassuring. I started self-improvement when I was 16 and it has paid dividends in my early 20's and I know it will continue to compound as long as I keep putting in the work. Thank you Hamza for inspiring the young generations to be virtuous, respectable men. For all of the teenagers going through the process, keep a strong mindset, be patient, and understand that the things you do now will slowly turn you into the person you want to become deep down. Don't be afraid to make mistakes and learn from them, it will make you better.

6. With #9 I can relate really well. I used to play video games, eat junk food, just about all the bad habits with him but over the past few months I’ve been improving myself. So at some point about a month ago, I tried to tell him about self improvement and all the things we could do together that would make this journey more enjoyable for me (cuz I do these things now) but, he didn’t want to do it. He used to workout a lot but told me that he only did it because it was an escape or something I think and that he won’t ever do it again. And he keeps playing video games for hours on end while eating junk food. We’re still friends but now I’m realizing he’s making fun of me now for things so, it kind of makes me sad to realize now that my friend that was so cool to me years ago is now not gonna be my friend anymore. I’ll miss him, but he won’t be on my mind all the time because I’m going to improve my life for the better without him. Thanks for sharing the knowledge that I needed, much love. Peace

I’m very grateful for my mate for getting me on self improvement, together we joined college and went round speaking to literally anyone and everyone and together our confidence as young men has grown. My group of friends are all supportive and we make fun of each other if we don’t follow our workout plan or healthy eating. Some of them don’t quite get self improvement as much as me and one other of my friends but it’s calm because it’s not as if they’re not onboard with bettering yourself anyway

Honestly, upgrading your physique is the best way to get along with any people really fast. It's not sad, it's just the way humans works in a society. I lost a ton of weight and obtained a way better bodyshape than people (after 6 months in the gym) from my uni and it shows. I've got instant respect from many students: guys compliment my body everyday without exagerating and I can see many (like many many girls and it's not even my mind that's fucked up) just straight up looking at my body and some of them can't resisting to touch my arms. It feels great and new, but don't get complacent. You and I have so many things to work on to become greater than ever. If you put in the work with the right mindset, most goals are achievable. Hamza, I've tried self improvement 3 times prior to watching your videos and It never worked out. I'm 15 right now and I really feel like this is going to work this time, I've stopped doing all of the bad habits and instant gratification and I really feel better man. I feel like I'm finally taking control over my life. Just 3 weeks ago, I got played by a girl for the second time in 3 months and I was sad, depressed, disappointed but I never did anything about it, just kept doing the bad habits. It's only been like what? A week? I've already started to catch more people looking at me and the Jeffery in me used to care when that happened but I've found that I'm just more focused on my work. I have a journalism class and a newspaper club, right now I'm covering the protests in Iran and China and I've made an article that I'm proud of so far, I started before the assignment was even posted lol. For anyone who's on the fence about doing this, it really works and you feel so much better after doing it. I feel like with my article I'm doing something that I feel like I'm making a difference with. I feel like there is just a small chance that someone may start to support the movements and just that one chance of that one person supporting something to make even a small difference that they wouldn't have don't if they didn't read what I wrote, it may not have happened. Thank you Hamza, your doing great work and I'm proof of that. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your emails have really helped me out, I SQUATED FOR THE FIRST TIME ON TUESDAY AND FELT GREAT. I've began to go to boxing and make freinds there and I feel fucking incredible man. Thanks. Really.

I normally don’t write comments, unless they have some value. Today, I learned something interesting as a medicine student. When you are a teenager during the puberty (part of the adolescence), your brain acts different, it is in a special maturation process. What happens is that your inner parts of the brain start to develop at the start of the puberty, especially the limbic system (focusses on emotions) and the reward system. They develop earlier than your prefrontal cortex, which is important for critical thinking, knowledge, understanding and other cognitive functions. Also the communication between the inner parts of the brain and the prefrontal area, happens with ‘white matter’ and that white matter also need to be reorganized, which leads to a disbalance in communication between those two areas. This cause that the emotional and reward system of the brain will get the power, because they are more ‘mature’ developed. This leads to the typical behaviour of a normal teenager, reacting with emotions and searching for sensation/risks, because your limbic system is overreacting and it is a dopaminergic system that wants more dopamine. This is the reason why teenagers are extra sensitive for instant gratification. That why tobacco companies want teenagers to start with smoking as soon as possible, because their prefrontal cortex is literally not strong to send enough signals ‘Smoking is bad, it cause cancer’. Even though you know, that knowledge is saved in the PF cortex, the communication between those areas are not developed enough yet and the PF cortex cannot inhibit the limbic system. It is even so fucked up, that there are teenagers that started reading this already have stopped, because their brain are searching for dopamine boosts. With this information, I would say to adolescents between 15-18, before you want to do something what is odd: watching TikTok, start smoking, etc. Write fast on a paper what could happen on the long term when you are doing that thing. Search quickly on the internet: What bad things are happening when you smoke. Then just look at the paper, realise what is saying and this can help developing your prefrontal cortex instead of fucking it up with drugs and alcohol. You will be 1-0 or even 2-0 ahead in front of most 20+ people.

Dear Hamza, I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the profound impact you have had on my life. From the moment I met you, you inspired me to become a better person and pursue my dreams with unwavering determination. Your unwavering support, encouragement, and guidance have been invaluable to me and have helped me overcome numerous obstacles along the way. Through your words and actions, you showed me what true kindness, compassion, and strength look like. You pushed me to be the best version of myself and never gave up on me, even when I wanted to give up on myself Thanks to you, I have developed a sense of self-confidence, resilience, and purpose that I never knew was possible. You have forever changed my life, and I will be forever grateful for the positive influence you have had on me. Thank you for being an incredible friend, mentor, and inspiration.

Wow, that part about looking back at your younger self and having the regret or anger towards what you did in the past really hits hard. I wish I had changed habits so that by now I would have been so much better off. Its a great way to think about how your future self will look back and think about what you did, almost like future planning so that you can look back and be proud of your younger self.

Because it has finally opened my eyes before i started watching your channel i was heavily addicted to junk food and video games and i kept on skipping my workout rountine i set up. Now i am on my way to self improvment and really appreciate the effort and work you put in so that many teenagers and young men could have a better life. You are one of the rarest people that actually cares about the lives of people who you never even met before, and that's why you are one of the youtubers that i actually respect and there are tons of videos about you and i might be able to upload a video about you aswell. Keep on doing the hard work especially when you don't feel like it. Respect

I worry too much about the future. I've been stressing so much about becoming financially free and making my family financially free that it is starting to become a problem. Currently in the hospital to get an EKG because of the stress. I'm only 18. I needed to hear that it's OK to not worry about the future to an extreme degree. Thank you Hamza, I really needed this. I genuinely feel less stressed just hearing this. I need to be more patient. I've been listening too much to this idea that if you haven't graduated from some gurus online course and created a million dollar business by age 16 then you have no chance. Building these things take time and it's unfair of me to damaging myseIf with these thoughts. I can't thank you enough Hamza.

First of all, I want to mention how helpful these videos are and how CRUCIAL they are to the average man. You mentioned that nobody was able to get their friend on self improvement, but my friend actually introduced me to it. The same friend I used to play Fortnite with for 6 hours a day. Now although we mostly just do the self improvement stuff separately, it's still nice knowing someone is going through the exact same thing. Or working out together once in a while. I do agree that self that in self improvement the times where I made the most progress is when I almost didn't talk to a lot of people and was only focused. I feel like we all need these periods of time. Especially considering the most change within yourself happens when you're alone.
