@@milo4885 Yep - I’ve been a weishennie since 2020, he’s always been my least favourite member because it was blatantly obvious he was only there for his visual lmfao. his visuals don’t appeal to me so personally i didn’t find he added anything to the group. plus with him gone, we get to see more of the less represented members (yy, hendery, winwin) whose development and talent is fantastic to witness. even during his solo he hasn’t shown any improvement in his rap, which has always been mediocre at the very best - the only thing that makes people think he can rap is the fact he has a deep voice lol. also no, the scandal thing was not fake. i initially defended him back in 2021, but he’s literally apologised for and admitted to his “past wrong actions” several times how, sm have apologised on his behalf and have still not to this day disproven anything. despite him being their biggest nct money maker that they even invested re-debuting as a soloist before other objectively more deserving nct members/idols, which makes it clear they haven’t debunked anything because they can’t. the only “debunking” is entirely claimed by fans who are not a reliable source in the slightest.

Also, it was an intentionally vague response but it was still handwritten by him, tailored for his situation (I haven’t seen the “stock response” used for any other SM idols) and specifically and clearly puts the blame entirely on Lucas for his “past actions”, in direct response to the cheating and gaslighting allegations. SM’s PR team were not born yesterday.
