1000 USD seems very expensive for a 2 bedroom compared to Thailand, might be like 70 sqm

In Thailand 2beds are from 1500 a month, 80sqm. Even not as nice as this.

There are 2 bedrm 1 bath apt in Cau Giay, Hanoi for $300 I had 2 bdrm 2 bath 85 sq m completely furnished in Ha Dong, Hanoi, furnished for $300 but I am connected

Whoever decorates these apartments really hasn't got a clue. It's not luxurious and half the stuff doesn't match, it looks pretty dated (old fashioned) compared to western standards and then they ask western prices. I've seen this in so many apartment tour videos from Vietnam, it totally turns me off settling there. If you want to charge western prices and call it luxurious then at least make it modern and put proper equipment in like an oven, big screen tv in each room, proper bathroom fittings and some technology to make it a smart apartment and don't choose a dark colour like blue for the room with the least light in the apartment 😂
