I make an annual trip to Beaumaris beach in Anglesey, 3 hours away (really good for crabbing btw) and do some crabbing, and I've found some serious monsters, so I'd choose the black trap

I really hope you kept the Honeycomb Cowfish, they are kinda rare to find.. and not too much is known about them, except that they're saltwater reef fish, highly evasive, usually live in pods of not more than three fishes (usually 1 male, 2 female) and the older the darker their camo gets, but their colour gets noticeably brighter when stressed. That's basically it.

You should have used zip ties to seal up that rip in the big fish trap, it’s a bandaid fix but it would work and keep it from having a huge hole in it.. lol

Both the big blue crabs were male. You can tell from the tail flap. The male's is thin and long, the female's is shorter but much wider, it is where she carries eggs and babies.

The fish you caught that you never caught before I'm pretty sure some people call it banana fishes they try to make themselves look like leaves and Float on the surface and but they probably sniffed out the food in in the water and swim into the Trap

I would love to see a 7 days giant fish trap on the inlet of your canal because that's where the fish come in and go out to the ocean so lots of fish will pass by that trap during the 7 days maybe you catch something epic

You should get a thousand gallon tank and keep all the trap fish in it for a while, like a native tank type deal, then release em as you see fit, and keep updates on what ya caught, how it's doing, releasing em, etc.

The fish you asked about keeping is called a smooth trunkfish and if you guys are on the eastern side of Florida that is an extremely rare catch because they are most commonly found in and around the reefs in the Caribbean and the Gulf of Mexico they are poisonous but only if you plan on eating one

Leave the OG trap for 2 or 3 days and keep the cool fish in it but please make a tank for the fish before you put the trap out and can you do it in saint water and KEEP THAT FISH !!!
