I have a hot tip for you guys in order so that you two can have sounder sleeps at night, no matter where you are staying: My hot tip is this: TAKE soft foam EARPLUGS with a decibel rating of at least 33 db., to cut out 33 db of sound. I use them. They WORK ... like a charm!

My husband and I had the great experience of living in Mexico for 2 years for a work assignment. Our home was in Mexico City and we traveled to most of places that were popular for tourists. We have stayed in several Hotels in Cancun. We enjoyed them very much.I did notice that the extensive use of granite and other stone in the hotels resulted in a very noisy environment due to all of the sounds bouncing off the floors and walls. Whether or not the hotel’s bars are open late or not can make a big difference in how much sleep you can get in your room!

What a cool all-inclusive!! And I’m glad you guys said that it wasn’t “over the top” because although I haven’t stayed in an all inclusive (yet) , that’s one thing I fear honestly, is it being a little too crazy and so that’s good to know! Also, when the guy was strapping his towels to the chair, my mind immediately thought of Lloyd from that particular podcast episode where it pisses him off almost😂😂. I do understand why it does though, it’s just unnecessary especially when they leave it for a long while, then they’re just taking advantage. But anyway, love you guys!! You guys do such hard work every single day! 😆🤟🏾

What a great place the food looked fabulous & we’d be like you want to try it all😄I like it when there’s a different variety of places to eat in an all inclusive. Wow Lloyd did you eat all the breakfast doughnuts? Yes I mix food when eating. I saw the toffee apples you pointed out. As kids we helped our dad make those where he worked for pocket money, £3 was sooo much to us kids & great fun with a few to take home too. Thank you for this vlog never been to Morocco have been asked to go there with friends this year. It’s never been my places to want to visit but this hotel & beach did catch my eye😉

I travel to Mexico at least 2 times a year, was just there a month ago in Cancun. We're having a family reunion of about 30 people in June 2023. It should be really interesting, considering my family dynamic. Lol! I really enjoy watching your videos, I find them very informative. Oh yeah.. and Mandy, I love your laugh! Next time try Moon Palace. It will blow your mind. We go there every year for the past decade. You never have to leave the resort, you almost won't want to.

Nah, I’m not really an all-inclusive resort person. My one exception is The Reef 28 in Playa del Carmen. You should check it out. Get the all-inclusive package. It’s the best value out there. We’ve managed to get the all-inclusive package (sign up for the insider rate) anywhere from $135-180/night including all taxes (off-peak season and getting 5th night free). The rooftop pool and bar is the best in Playa. Also check out the hydrotherapy at the spa. And you get access to the Reef Playacar and Reef Coco Beach if you want beach access. Breakfast buffet is the best out there and the restaurants actually serve non-hotel guests too, so they’re good. Calle 28 and 1st Avenida. Do a video there and see if you can get a discount. They offer you points if you post on social media, so you could probably work something out.

Hi. If you have to compare Mexiko to Thailand, what do you think? I mean food, lifestyle, prices and your feelings to be far away from home and to be at that part in the world. Where you feel more it is easy to handle and uncomplicated? Thx from North Coast Germany with ocean, too but cold ;)

Difficult question 🤔 I love both. Currently in Thailand since August and absolutely love it. Been traveling in Thailand many times since 1991 Been to Mexico many times too. Both for business and pleasure. Spend January and February there. Thailand takes the price for food. Cost of living depends. What I really hate about Mexico is the strong American influence. An example is tipping. Mexico wasn’t a tipping place before. But now all major tourist destinations are expecting tips following American standard which I hate. For this reason I’m avoiding certain places in Mexico That being said Mexico still has a lot to offer Lifestyle, infrastructure and beauty I think both countries win 🤷‍♂️

I would say hands down Thailand and that region their resorts and beaches and people are the gold standard in terms of the vibe and quality of the resorts and pricing etc. As an American I can tell you that for most Americans if they can afford the higher cost of going to Hawaii 11 out of 10 will go to Hawaii. It has more of a tropical island feel. The visitors are generally far less shady as well. Hawaii is like Whole Foods in terms of the quality and atmosphere. Cancun and Mexico resorts is like the Walmart in terms of quality and people. Don’t get me wrong, Walmart is a great place but it’s no Whole Foods. Also considering that you are from Europe, 9/10 Europeans opt to go to either a European island or some resort town in Thailand or Southeast Asia. And the visitors in Cancun are almost always americans. If you’ve been been on an American airline flight with all Americans I think I don’t think I have to say anything about their reputation. Ask any Italian or French what happens when there are more than 10 Americans at their hotel or a restaurant. Everything goes downhill from there. So I would probably recommend if you want to visit the us region go to Hawaii. But ideally I would point you towards some nice resort place in Southeast Asia or Thailand. You will be around some Americans but not 99 percent Americans like in Cancun etc. it will be more in the realm of 2-3 percent maximum. Most foreigners will be from Germany, the U.K. Australia, Swiss. French. Spain, Italy. Poland. Etc. just the fact that you are surrounded by more diverse countries from Europe and Australia etc is worth the experience in terms of being enriched intellectually and socially.

Food Mexico wins. Nice geography tie, altough Mexico is much more diverse. Prices Thailand is 20÷ cheaper. Customer service Thailand wins. People kindness tie. Culture Mexico wins. Both countries are spectacular, nothing in the world compares to them.

Sorry... But you don't always get what you pay for.. We have stayed at 4+ star resorts that have been no better then a Motel 6 .. I feel the star rating system quite OFF when choosing a resort.. Mainly because Not all 4* resorts are the same or evenly price and l find that most 5* get ridiculously over priced for what you get..
