Awesome designs. The hull designs and highlights give them so much character. Slightly pudgier proportions but retaining their iconic features makes the fit perfectly into the Lower Decks aesthetic. You've done an amazing job with these and the Confederation series.

Now, the fun question then becomes: why name these prestige ships, such as the first warp-5 ship, after some Californian town? My personal explanation is that either it gains significant prominence early in the reconstruction of Earth after the eugenics wars, or some ship named Cerritos that we have yet to see gained fame and prominence pre-Enterprise. Of course, this is me putting too much thought into a funny, fun video with cool designs.

The designs of the NX-style and Sovereign-style versions of the Cerritos both look so cool, almost lost it at the captions reading "questions about feces" and calling the Kazon "bargain basement Klingons" but I feel bad for the burn on Kim. Harry was too good, I'd blame his never getting a promotion for the fact Garret was the only cast member who didn't get to direct as he'd accidentally admitted that in the early days of "Voyager" there'd been a memo that; "Everyone playing humans, play it more wooden as this is the only way for the aliens to seem more real"

I I LOVE the Connie inspired design. Granted I'm a sucker for the Connie so it is kinda cheating but it shows that Starfleet's ugly duckling of a callie really does have what it takes to be beautiful. She just was made as cheap as possible I'm not a fan of several of the other designs, but I can absolutely respect the work put into them.

I was referring to the Enterprise B version of the Ceritos. Considering that you went with the Excelsior version, you would think it received a refit to the Enterprise B style and had a longer career until it retired without being lost in space.

@@driftbandit4740 That IS the Enterprise-B version in THAT Universe! This is a different Universe and so what you would think really doesnt apply. Also, according to most Beta Canon the Enterprise-B was destroyed, and Canon actually supports that idea as it is NOT in the Fleet Museum...

What about the Constitution III class *Cerritos-G* ? One of the few Starfleet ships with any officers _left alive_ after Frontier Day. Surprisngly, the son of an admiral, who caused the massacre by running off to physically confront the mastermind behind all his repeated kidnapping attempts, thus making it a successful kidnapping.... Was not only not charged with _really, really extreme negligence_ leading to the death of most of Starfleets personnel above 25 years Human equivalent age, but was given a position on the new Cerritos.

It's a sad fact people theses days have lost their sense of humor. It's nice to let loose and have fun every once in a while which is why I've always liked Lower Decks. This was an amusing round of what if scenarios which, if taken a little further into a couple of animated episodes, would be hilarious fun.
