@@spidaman0112 yes they have in the bowl games recently. They literally just had losing records against ACC and Big10. But that is irrelevant. We are talking about now. The playing field is leveling out now that they aren’t getting all the best players. You gotta pay attention. You’ll see this season

My picks for playoff rankings Bye teams in order: 1. Ohio State (drops reg szn to penn state) 2. Fl state (undefeated again) 3. Georgia (drops to miss) 4. Utah (drops to ok state at pickens) Remaining 8: 5. Penn State (loses big10 champ to osu) 6. LSU (drops to georgia in sec champ) 7. Oregon (drops to osu and misses out of big10 champ) 8. Texas (drops to Georgia) 9. Notre dame (drops game to fl state) 10. Bama (2 losses to lsu in death valley and georgia at home) 11. Miss (drops to lsu and florida in swamp) 12. I think the playoff selections will be the P4 champs, the token G5 team, and the rest are all B10 or SEC teams like the networks want. Even Big 12 and ACC teams get left out unless they are the champ.

I’ve got a bold prediction, Arkansas upsets Texas on the way to being 3rd in the SEC west behind two one loss teams. We make a bowl, maybe the playoff, and lose accordingly.

If the first prediction happens that would be the beginning of the healing of CFB. Next would be placing a ban on NIL again and then taxes on players that leave the states they played high school ball in.

Outside of Gabriel the QB race is wide open in the conference. But Gabriel has all the experience, a history of production, and is in a great system. I'd give it at least an 8.5 on the boldness scale

They are top of the Big 12 in recruiting and the transfer portal and the biggest university in power football. I get that people don't want them to be good, but that ship has sailed :)

@@40to38 when they get absolutely blasted in Gainesville this year by a mediocre UF, I'll be back to remind you they aren't there yet and still have a long way to go in the talent department. They're also 3rd in the BIG12 for the 2024 class.

@@chrishaugh1655 just depends what site you use... on3 has them at like 2nd for 2024, 2025 and transfer portal team and there's no consistent team above them so they are top of the Big 12 overall with getting good recruits. Like you can say Colorado has a better transfer ranking but they are super low in recruiting. I just thought it was a silly take to think they can't win a championship in the Big 12. I'm not saying it happens this year, but I think they will run over the Gators again even in the Swamp. I don't think people understand how good UCF's rushing offense is going to be and KJ Jefferson won there last season with a terrible Arkansas team. Should be a good game though :)

When you take the collegiate aspect out of the sport little by little and pay everyone a salary, you have just become a professional sports league. Some day in the future Alabama, Ohio State, etc. will become NFL expansion teams, when the NFL loses its ability to reload every year with a "college" draft. It will have to combine or go out of existence.The sport of College football used to be about tradition, and bringing together a community.We are slowly losing that. I think the soul of the game has sold out to corporate America..
