Today I'll be showing everyone how I made a Ghost Jason (Never Hike Alone) costume for under $25.00. This tutorial of the Ghost Jason will be one of many costume tutorials that I would love to make for you.

I like to imagine ghost Jason is wearing Pamela’s sweater. He had to rip it for it to fit and it’s adorable. When you look at Jason as a big kid just trying to stand up for himself and his mom then you start to see why the teens are the villains.

You can also make the mask with a paintbrush, a cheap white mask, a layer of brown acrylic, and two layers of acrylic beige, then using a 6B sketch pencil to make the blood stained scratched (you can also use a very dark red)

I reccomend using water balloons on the snaps and cutting off the tops of the balloons so they are about as long as that tape

Your mask making is pretty spot on, the prices are way off. You would be lucky to find a jacket like that at Goodwill for less than $20. Total costume is $100-$150 and another $75-$100 per prop weapon.

I love shopping at the goodwill, I always find incredible deals. I do own four of these jackets that I had purchased from the goodwill and the most I have ever paid for one is $7.00. The weapons that I use are not props they are real. The machete was $5.00 at walmart and the axe was $20.00 from harbor freight, I had bought these weapons years ago for when I go camping. I love making costumes and I love doing them on the cheap. Stay Awesome :-)

I definitely am thinking I'll keep that diluted paint idea in mind for weathering a mask, especially after seeing just how amazingly it worked out here. Once again you made an awesome tutorial. Now as for a suggestion on what to maybe do for another one of these? I'd like to see you tackle either the MKX, 2009 reboot or even the Vengeance designs for Jason but really, I'll be watching regardless.

Yes you can, I've used razor blades, forks and even nails before and they all work pretty good :-)

Cs5 I know what you can do with the U.S army patch for you can make a camouflage jason mask with bullets and you can use the patch for the strap and then you glue the patch on the strap
