Puzzles Details
There are 25 horses among which you need to find out the fastest 3 horses. You can conduct race among at most 5 to find out their relative speed. At no point you can find out the actual speed of the horse in a race. Find out how many races are required to get the top 3 horses.
This is very interesting puzzle, usually asked in technical, defence, administartive interviews. I have explained the solution 3 minutes. pause the video before checking the solution.

Why there is need for race7?

if 1,2,3 is faster than 4,5 , that does not imply that they're also faster than 9,10. If you had a race between 1,2,3, 9, 10, then 9, 10, 1 can win and not necessarily 1,2, 3.

@@morbideddie Hey, thanks for replying but without a timer you don’t know if any of horse that came in second are faster than the winner of any of the other groups. EI. The horse that came in second in the first group may be faster than any of the other winners. Sent from my iPhone HAMED Tclone55
