Now that's real smart. You even added both upoercase and lowercase and symbols. Good job! Even though it has 25 segments it's a good concept.

Instead of liking this design, i came up with something better than the 7 Segment Display. It is basically a 7 segment display, but with 8 diagonal segments which adds up to 15 Segments. 4 diagonal segments are in the insides of the 7 Segment Display each, so it can actually display M, W, K and other alphabetical letters as well. Not only capital Letters, even lowercase Letters too!

a 5x5 square wouldn't have the underreach, which is the whole point of this design

Thanks Lillian! The music is just a little tune I put together a while back. It loops nicely so that's why I decided to use it here. It hasn't been published anywhere else. edit: typo

Yes, I agree. I could have it going down, like an inverted small g, but that wouldn't've looked right either. I'll make an improved version of this sometime

@@damirium-vg2yj I actually like that 8. It has some typographic character. I audibly went “heh”. Anyway, that's what the DIP switch on the back is for, so you can have your 8 and your G with or without character ;).
