If you're here for that you're in the wrong place as these are static, not dynamic. I do have a dynamic stretching video though you should check out.

Stretching is as vital as exercise. Personally it helps improve flexibility, performance, injury prevention (I know this one can't be proved) and secretly a spiritual ending to an intense workout. Nice one Corey!

Awesome video! I love all these stretches, would it be a good idea to do all of them at once, in the order your doing them, 30 seconds, 3 sets each side? I'm thinking about doing this every night before bed. I'm in good shape and 29 years old. Thank you!!!

I would pick a few that address your specific areas of tightness. But sure even just a round through for up to 30 seconds could be good to help you relax and unwind!

I don't fear traininig alone, outside, in the dark, in the nature, been dirty, in the cold or heat... but stretching is my nightmare! And i know that I should follow your exemple...

Not a weird question at all! You can definitely target your shins with the peroneal stretch by changing the angle of your feet. Here I also have a great 3 way stretch - redefiningstrength.com/dynamic-stretches-for-runners/

Generally good stretches but a couple of them seem to put too much stress on the knees

Some I do not have clients with knee pain do. But so many of them place no stress if you have no injury and are actually KEY to preventing knee pain. For instance the quad muscles are stretched with knee flexion so even the peroneal stretch can really benefit them if you have no injury or pain.

Thank you! I'd recommend diet to reduce fat in any area and then push ups and other compound chest moves to help build muscle and reduce fat.

But it isn't. That's the thing yoga may utilize static stretching but it also uses dynamic stretching. You need to realize that each is different and that a static stretch has different benefits than dynamic. You can't generalize in my opinion :-)

U need to realise u r doing a selection of static yoga stretches. Just because u r selective in ur exercises, does not mean it is not yoga. U cannot cherrypick. Yoga is yoga.

Yes but you are missing the point. To call them YOGA is limiting as Yoga is not just static stretching. Therefore it is important to call the moves what they are in movement terms aka STATIC stretches unlike some yoga flows which are dynamic. Labeling them STATIC is key because static and dynamic stretching have different benefits. Dynamic stretching is key before a workout and static stretching can actually decrease performance and lead to an increased risk for injury. So to tell someone "Do yoga" before a workout could lead them to do static stretches. Who the heck cares if you basically call them a brand name when the important thing is to understand that static and dynamic stretches are different, which is literally why I have both static and dynamic stretching videos.
