Really? It’s not a sound financial move in my opinion. People must be hard up to maintain a lifestyle they cannot afford that they have to tap their home equity to get it.

I love my Aven card. It feels good to know I have a large credit line if I need it and can pull emergency cash out with just a 2.5% fee and still only pay your yearly interest rate as opposed to regular credit cards. I got approved for an Aven card when I got denied at a big bank.

So what if you get it but never use it? Is it still on your credit? Is there still a lien? I’m confused. Is it like a mortgage? If you pull a certain amount and pay it back quick, are you good?

It is absolutely BS worst card option and there is no guaranty. Process is very much pain. No phone customer service I have applied this card and initially pre-approved. Later submitted my application and gave the approval with 12* percent with 100K Taken the notary and notified us after a week that we are not able to approve.

With any HELOC product there will be a lien on the your home. Got to make sure to have a plan to pay the money back.

Hi tereselena.. ! Aven is a HELOC accessed via credit card. It is a much lower cost of capital than other options - but it requires consumers to verify their income via a 3rd party, and have strong credit performance. We are not the product for people whose income isn't sufficient, or if they have spotty / weak credit history.
