So my credit sucks, 586(it’s raised a lot in the past year) but my relationship with navy fed is great. I got approved for the go rewards with a limit of 25000.

I am living proof this is possible. I was approved for the NFCU Flagship in August 2021-- this was coming off 2 years of rebuilding credit w/ being in foreclosure and collections. At the time of applying I had an NFCU checking and savings account, as well as one of their lower tiers cards and my FICO score was probably mid/high 600s. Was given the minimum $5K limit and was recently given an increase to $8K. It can be done!

This is very accurate! I was pre qualified for all the cards but I was nervous to apply for the flagship so I decided to apply for the Visa Signature cashReward credit card. I was approved for it and I got a credit limit of 20,000.00. I became a member in October 2022 and I have direct products with them.

I just recently applied for the platinum and got approved for $19,500!! It surprised me since I have 8 other credit cards with a 674 credit score. Maybe it helped that I’ve been a member for 22 years.

I got a NFCU checking/savings due to the video you have here. When I first joined up the only card they would give me was a secured card. I deposited like $25 in my savings account and waited a couple months. Almost forgot about it TBH. Well yesterday I go and check my pre-approvals and again and every NCFU card showed up including the Flagship card. I applied at midnight eastern. Got the application needs to be reviewed message and maybe 2hrs later.. Boom approved $6200 I dont think I have great credit right now. I have been working on it for a couple years now.. CK like to put my scores in the mid 500s ... MyFico is 650ish But NCFU gave me this flagship card with $6200 Thanks for the video.. I became a member and 20mins later applied for the flagship card and was approved for $25k. My score teeters between 798-806. So it's really what they want to give you depending on your credit history and personal salary.

A rep told me you can do a product change anytime. .. you just lose your intro bonus. For example i have a 0 APR for a year she said if i made a product change before the year end I’ll lose that promo

I just called their customer service dept and opened up a savings account and a money-market savings account over the phone. I used a credit card of mine to fund it. Customer service just asked my name, address, phone, where I worked and my affiliation with the armed forces (my father). A soft pull with Transunion to verify my identity and an instant approval with an access code given to me. Real easy. I will build up my savings account and then apply for a credit card.

I tried the late night hack in October 2021 for the personal loan and it worked. I haven't tried the for the flagship card because my credit has taken a hard hit since employment loss at the beginning of 2022.

I was shocked i got approved for the card. 2 weeks ago i did their prequal and only had the secured card show up. Score only went up about 10 points (537 TU/511 EQ/549 EX), but i had opened a certificate acct with Navy Fed in that time (already had active duty checking and a savings acct), filled out the prequal again just to see, and had the whole lineup available. Applied and got the Flagship card with an 11k limit.

I saw a similar video of getting this card. Unfortunately like the other video, there’s nothing about credit management. There’s a lot of Americans that are drowning in debt. So to get another card without proper financial management can and will lead someone further into debt. Are there good reasons to have a credit card, definitely. But more people should focus on getting out of debt and becoming financially stable and free from debt.

Late night hack workout for me got approved for 11k

I tried the "late night hack" and was definitely approved immediately. I'd say it does work, but there may also be qualifying factors that plays it's part in whether or not you are approved. I could be wrong, but....🤷🏽‍♀️

I think the annual fee for this credit card is a drop in the bucket. I had higher annual fees with other credit cards. So I’m happy to have this annual fee. I. Ant complain with the limit they gave me. 25 K

I just became a NFCU member last night and havent even funded my account yet. was pre approved for the flagship card. I applied and got approved for only a $7000 limit. I have 2 platinum Amex business and personal. Paid off a $300k auto loan for a Urus. And have a Chase Sapphire reserve with a $28k limit. And my TU score is 776. Can i ask for a limit increase reconsideration.

NFCU never asked me for any proof of military service or military family member 😂 They only asked the basics: name, address, birthday, SSN, income. Not worried, I have two Navy veterans in my family if they ask. Their customer service is excellent, and their app is user-friendly.

I was preapproved for all of the NFCU CC and had 15 hard inquiries at the time that i applied for for the Flagship CC and was approved. So i do not believe that NFCU is inquiry sensitive.

Hey Naam, I think 8k might be the highest credit limit increase that NFCU does. I have gotten 8k increase on 3 separate occasions for a max total of 46k on my card

Joined yesterday immediately transfered to card department, did a prequalify was approved on Flagship, $6,900 limit, I asked about an increase and they said I could try but usually better to wait 90-180 days. Retired with a fixed income of 66,500. So not sure if they will increase it. What is your opinion? Credit 708. Rent per month 300.

Got the secured card 2 days ago on preapproval today applied got the rewards cash back $6900..

I am able to do the product changed because my More Rewards Amex has at least 13,400. But I don’t have one year yet. But I will wait and actually wait and apply for the flagship later in future but during the summer time. So I can meet The bonus requirement !

I tried the late-night hack for myself and got $12K, a couple of weeks prior, my husband applied during the day and got $25K (both for the NFCU Amex), we have very similar credit, and we are in the 750 range.

I'm a member of NFCU, but I don't understand why everyone raves about the flagship card? Is it the potential for a super high credit limit? The 2% on everything and 3% on travel for an annual fee isn't that attractive. You can get those benefits for free if you combined 2 no annual fee cards from mulitiple issuers.

I’m feeling very confident I can get a 10k card once I apply… Right now I have a 687 score that will be atleast 710 next month, and I’m putting away $1,500 every month and have a pledge fund($250) at the moment with NFCU. I’m going to wait 2 more months, THEN see if I prequalify for any of their cards!! My score should be in the 720+ range by then as well. And only 3 inquiries as well on my TU report!! Credit Karma says I have 3 inquiries, but Credit Sesame is saying I have 0

I must be in a totally different world or have a comprehension disability with this topic. Somehow, I came across a HUGE amount of KZfaq videos on obtaining a NFCU Flagship credit card. It sounds like the goal is to obtain this credit card with a large line of credit, as if that is a good thing. When I was younger, I lived paycheck to paycheck, raised 6 kids and struggled a lot to make ends meet. However, I tried to spend within my means and vacations were rare, very rare and very limited. This learning experience brought me to a point where in effect, all my credit card interest rates are ZERO %. I NEVER pay any interest. Why is the desire to have so large of a line of credit. I am not blessed with being from a rich family, I am not poor either, I just followed the basic advice: Have an emergency fund, save for a rainy day, save for retirement, and always, always, always spend less than you earn. It is not hard, it is not painful, it is not difficult. What am I missing.
