I have not studied classical guitar since I was 17 in 1965; 49 years later I'm at the age when my mother had to give up guitar because of arthritis in her hands - I've inherited her Martin 0018C, bought & downloaded the complete Carcassi Op. 60, and now will set to learning as many as I can using you as my guide. My fingering will be what my hands can do, not necessarily what Matteo would prefer, but I'll progress! Thank you for these postings.

@@christofinb Agreed! If you've not yet seen this performance by Lopes then you are in for a treat kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pdByjLpk3sm6hHk.html One of the highlights of classical guitar playing ever imho (Tariq Harb also does a superb rendition of it as well using Lopes arrangement).

This is one of the best versions of this I've seen on KZfaq. Phenomenal! It also reminds me how nice it can sound when you've practiced and are in good shape for playing. (I started playing again after a many year break, so this used to be one of my favorites...and it sounds like slow, hot garbage when I play it)
