Your mock orange is beautiful!!! I wish my neighbor had one to spill over to my yard! Your garden is looking so green and lush. That compost is really paying off. I was amazed to find out that you can put hydrangea stems that are flopping over , in the ground , and they will root and make a new plant!!! Even just putting a heavy rock on the stem to hold it down to the ground. Incredible! Those bricks for free was a total score. I can't tell you how much I have spent on used bricks at Home Depot for my yard. They used to be 85 cents each., now they are $1.15 each!!! But I love the look of the used ones so much. I love when you mentioned other bloggers who are affiliated with a nursery or grower, and get loads of plants delivered. And......not only that... a landscaping company comes and plants everything for them!!!! No fair!!!! Well, your garden is stunning to me. Its real, its nature in its truest form. And your hard scape paths are everything!

I did have luck transplanting peonies. I did leave a good-sized root ball. We carefully put it in the wheelbarrow, trying not to knock off the dirt and immediately set it in the new location. They actually did great. They came from the bareroot plants that Costco sells. I had put them in the wrong location initially.

Hi I enjoy your informative videos. Love the transformation on your yard since you moved in. Specially the siding of your home to stone. Its beautiful! When you said your husband did heavily compost, do you cook it for a year or just leave the yard clippings around the plants? Again, your garden its beautiful 😍 🤩 👌

Do you buy the compost or make it yourself with scraps?
