Great video. Really appreciate the time and effort put into this. Some very thoughtful drills. Are there a different set of feeding techniques you use w/ a beginner. Is it better to do drill such as 15 and 5. I find when I try feeding to the side my kids are hitting the ball to close to their body

Hi birdie. Yes of course you should adjust the positioning and the distances depending in the Players skills. All my drills are made with Non-professionals...so you can raise difficulty by your own. That is how to become a good coach. Not copy drills...try to implement your own Tasks. My videos are just to show a way of many...

Question: Does feeding from the side creates real angles for the players?
@tennistrainingkares
@tennistrainingkares Жыл бұрын
Hi there, great question! It's depending how close the coach is to the net. The closer you are to the net, the more acute the angle of a cross court. With a down the line feeding, the ball goes into the body of the player, which can often not correspond to the game situation. Sometimes, however, it is advantageous to play from the side or even from the net post during specific exercises, for example when a feeding has to change sides quickly, or for safety reasons. Sometimes I also stand on the side because of the video, so that the camera can see from which side the coach's play is coming. To sum it up: the feeding should be carried out from positions that are true to the game as often as possible - exceptions prove the rule, and it also depends on the playing strength of your students (good players usually have no problem with a feeding from the side).

If you wanted to reduce your German accent when speaking English (not that you must, but if you wished), a few changes would not be too difficult. (1) Pretend that "technique" is spelled in German "Tekniek". (2) When you say "volley" pronounce the "v" like a German "w". It would only be pronounced "oo-ah-lie" if it we spelled it "wolley". The English "w" is difficult for Germans, but the English "v" should be quite easy for you.

Drill 10 - where are the 4 target zones on the court? You put 4 cones at the back, which is fine, but that makes 5 target zones to me, not 4. Could you explain this to me, please?
@tennistrainingkares
@tennistrainingkares 2 жыл бұрын
Hallo my friend. No, there are 4 target zones. 4 kones. 4 target zones. 2 on the left and 2 on the right.

@@tennistrainingkares Wouldn't it be easier to divide the back of the court into 4 simple zones : 1, 2, 3 and 4 ?

@@Sladovsky1 it is devided in 4 zones. Every zone 1 kone. I count 4 kones so 4 zones

@@tennistrainingkares From the sideline to Cone 1->zone 1, cone 1-cone 2->zone 2, cone 2-cone 3->zone 3, cone 3-cone 4->zone 4, cone 4 - the other sideline->zone 5. That's what it looks me. Am I right?

@tennistrainingkares

Good drills but Everybody’s forehand looks terrible. HUGE high loopy backswings. A ton of wasted movement. They are doing drills BUT they needs some instruction on how to do them properly.

Hi thank you for your comment. Remember my channel is not a channel to Show drills on big talented or professionals. There are enough Videos on KZfaq who Show how every drill is working. My channel is for Club coaches who must work with non talanted players. Of course i show them the right technique but you know for sure sometimes it Tages longer to adapt it. important to me. Thanks for watching.
