When driving I just assume at least 50% of the other vehicles are being driven by someone high as a kite or drunk. People will literally pull into a parking lot and do drugs intravenously and then drive away while nodding out, or they've been awake for 3 days. Its insane

I had a friend who was an alcoholic, beer was his drink of choice. He decided to quit drinking. For a few months he said he was doing good and not drinking. One night my wife and I walked into the bar and there he was, I said 'I thought you quit drinking?' to which he replied "I'm not drinking beer, just whiskey", he thought since his 'problem' was beer then whiskey wouldn't be a problem. He refused a ride home by my 100% sober wife, snuck out a back door and called to inform us the police had him stopped. He got a DUI and then he got a ride home from my 100% sober wife anyway. After the second DUI a week later he finally quit drinking alcohol altogether.

they're actually typically really polite. i work the overnight shift in a major city as security for a building and while some of them have been getting a bit more argumentative during the hot weather, they're usually extremely apologetic and polite when i tell them they need to move along. obviously some of them are literally crazy so you need to be careful but most of them are fine. *edit: you see the "entertaining" interactions on these channels. they're not going to post 5 minute interactions of people that are cooperative.

Yeah, the opium plant is brutal, I used to indulge heavily in Codeine as I grew up in Houston, Tx and our culture promoted it heavily through Screw music. One night, while sipping a Duece of Codeine in a 2 liter Big Red soda, I passed out at Jack N The Box with my foot on my car's accelerator while parked with the engine revving. I was 24 and this was 20 years ago, the cops awoke me, and I don't know why other than a miracle, but they didn't search the car, didn't require me to get out, and just told me to sleep it off, I should have lost my collegiate and scholastic career and the last 20 years of life should have been different, opium is not something to play with at all.

While I agree, there is a bunch of silent investigating the police are doing while standing around chit chatting with the suspect. Is she swaying, slurring her speech, being combative, etc. They're collecting evidence the entire time you're with them - this is why it's always best to keep silent (when you're doing illegal shit), because it gives them less to go on. The statute/law or whatever is "Driving while intoxicated" or "Driving under the influence" not DRUNK driving. a breathalyser can eliminate a suspicion but just because you blow 0 doesn't mean "oh well i guess you're free to go then." You can still be tested and charged with being intoxicated.

For a long time across Europe we've had the benefit of both FST's and roadside drug tests. The police here don't mess, take the tests, pass them and go, or fail and come with us. Ten minutes, job done, released or arrested, back on patrol. American officers waste millions of tax dollars annually with unnecessary and protracted conversations.

Years ago I took Ambien - I would do the same as your mom except id get up AFTER I went to bed, I'd wander around the house, sometimes bump into walls like a Roomba, lol and atleast once that I know of walked out my front door - don't remember any of it or only vaguely.

@@ms.lisamurphy269 I did the same thing. My husband would find me at 2 am vacuuming the house or cooking ‘dinner’. Lol How scary if we had gotten behind the wheel!
