Please note that these traps are not bulletproof traps. You perform these moves off of instinct. It’s always a game of chess. You understand your opponents rhythm or you deceptively place them into a rhythm or you stay defensively aware understanding that the same can happen back to you so be ready to evade their counter. It’s a complex sport boxing. Never look at any move here like it’s full proof. You need to pick your moments and have a decent level of ring IQ and ability. A lot of the time you won’t pull these traps and tricks off unless... A. You’ve dictated the rhythm, distance & pace of the fight B. You are defensibility aware & responsible C. You have a great understanding of timing D. You have good ring craft and boxing IQ You also have a good chance of performing these traps and tricks when A. Your opponent is slowing down B. Your opponent lacks ability It’s important to remember that you’re opponent might be doing the same thing to you so defensive responsibility is key. Always have a proactive defense meaning finish every attack or attempt at attack with a defense. The perfect example of a question I get for this tutorial. ‘Trap number 2: what if you parry the jab and the opponent does number 1?’ My response is this is boxing, find a way♟🧐
