My dyson was delivered today. The manual didn’t hv anything abt which tool shld be used for what. Thanks this video was very helpful

I think the tool I use most on all my Dyson cordless vacs is the basic combination tool, which is extremely useful for dusting, due to its small shape and the way you can also fit it to the wand, to do down low on skirtings, and up high to dust covings, ceilings, light fittings etc. As just about every Dyson handheld comes with this attachment, you will always have one of the best tools, even with the cheapest model V6, and I find the V6 the best machine to use for above floor cleaning, due to its small and ergonomic, well balanced in the hand, design. Some people may say the V7 and V8 are better due to their easy emptying, but I find the V8 is heavier and bigger, so can get into less "confined" areas, such as the area under the windshield of my car, to dust the dash. Out of the V6 and V8 that I own, the V6 is by far the one I use most for above floor cleaning tasks. The V8 makes a better "upright substitute" for cleaning carpet and hard floor with its powerheads, and thats also the area I think the V10 would be best suited, rather than for above floor cleaning. Each model has its pros and cons, and certain models are better suited for specific tasks. I think the V10 would be ideal for those with larger homes, and lots of hard floors, to utilise its longer run times using the fluffy head on power setting 1.

Love your video about how to use attachments, Dyson spent so much in these products, unfortunately there was no instructions on how to use, there are some of them in 2023 V8 which are curved parts ; still trying to understand

You should try the soft roller cleaner head for mirrors and windows. Believe me it works a treat.👌🏼

Blue Ridge Cabin Cleaning have you every tried the nv60 26? It’s a grate vacuum with a 13 for or so hose and a very aggressive brush roller I have rocket hand held vacuum witch should be best for blinds and stairs or any above floor cleaning that the upright can’t go the model for that hand vac is HV292 26. It’s a great hand vac

Actually one thing which I hate about my Dyson it is indeed the smaller attachments they are utterly useless. The angle at which they are cut, the density of the brushes, the size and the lack of flexibility for reaching tight spots... I was genuinely looking for some adapters to buy an additional third party set of attachments...

How does a cordless vacuum works with vacuum bags ??? Do they perform as good as a regular vacuum ?

better but keep in mind run times. 20 minutes for most models sounds like little but enough for my needs.

Cordless cleaners are great for small areas, especially if the flooring is wooden or ceramic and for cleaning soft furnishings and the car interior. For thick carpets or rugs, I prefer my corded cleaner by far as the suction is superior and I'm not concerned about the limited battery life.
