Ive noticed that you vacuum correctly. Nice and slow. The brushes can only spin so fast to remove as much dirt as possible and when ppl vacuum too fast, they barely give the brushes any time to dislodge dirt out to pick up. Nice job

Hi, a great video showing use of all the accessories in detail. Are the small motorised tool & the mattress tool both used for the same purpose - cleaning the chairs, sofas & the bed mattress?

They can be used for both, although I typically save the motorized head for stairs and cars.

Now that it's about 3 yrs later, what's ur opinion on the current dyson stick vacs? The v11 series,the v15, and the v15 plus?

Honestly I can't give a true opinion on them because I don't and haven't used those versions. I have liked the v8 for ease and compactness but the Dyson DC17 (plug in) does do a better deeper cleaning. If @dyson would like to send us one to test I would gladly let you know my thoughts.

Wondering how it's holding up I've heard people complaining about battery issues a part break on the sweeper part

I know it has been a while since you made this comment but thought I would still share. We did start having issues with the battery after almost 3 years but after we cleaned the filter the battery life improved again. We noticed while the filter looked clean it was crunchy so we really need a new one but overall it is back to cleaning about 8-10mins on max. We also have not had any pieces break as of yet and our children are not that gentle with it.

Hi, u didnt show the 2 rollers, the big one and medium size. Which one is for carpet and which is for the flooring?

Thank you for catching that. In the previous video "Dyson V8 Absolute Worth the price?" It shows the carpet and hard surface heads but we will look into adding that part in to this video as well. good review video. I have a question, Can i just buy dyson v8 motorhead, which comes with few attachments and buy the attachments later from 3rd party, if i do that i will be saving $100 .

Yes, you can always purchase the accessories you need later. Something to keep in mind, Dyson sometimes changes how the attachments connect between models (v8 vs v9, etc.) so it's best to stick with attachments that are made for your specific model.

Life as a Leach you can get a V8 Absolute on dysons website for $350 right now for memorials day sale, and when you get it from Dyson.com you get to choose one of three extra attachments kits free. The sales person also said he would throw in a free bag to hold the accessories, and I told him I was interested in the “flexi crevice tool” and he gave that to me for free instead of the bag.. I ordered it through the “chat” icon on dysons website.
