I get back with parts for my 1970 ford Flacon to hopefully start
and drive this junk yard rescue. will it start??

I tell ya what, ove had more people contact me on this grill. That was my main interest in the car when I found it. Thought it was a Cobra when I first found it until I pulled the weeds away. But ya know I'm respecting the O'l 4 door 6 cylinder now.

After a couple searches, I believe this car came from Sunset Ford, St. Louis, Missouri. You stated that this was a Missouri car, and the St. Louis dealership was the first one to pop up. I could be wrong, but I hope this helps

I saw a car like this on episodes of The FBI with Efrem Zimbalist Jr.. The car was seen during the 1969-1970 season, he drove the car in the show in addition to the Ford Galaxie 500 4-door sedan that the other agents used on the show.

An older couple in the neighborhood I grew up in had a Falcon like that, they also had a 57 Bel Air Hardtop they bought new.

😆 sure looks like it. Actually 2 cycle gas for my string trimmer. Figure the oil would help coat the cylinders for the first fire.

@@flatbrokegarage mm. I got an 85 and 95 both with the 4.9 I6. Love 'em to death. The 85 is wore plumb out after 350K miles or so, so it's parked for an engine overhaul.

Actually a bunch of them do. That's how I got the idea. Most of those guys get them running and drive cross country. I just to see if it mine makes it 10 miles over a mountain to my house

When you have a fuel pump don't work get a boat fuel primer ball goes in the fuel line and primed with your system and the fuel pump most likely it'll start working again

Sadly soon all combustion cars and trucks including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Car washs will be forbidden too because they are climate killers, now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime.!!! (BABVVEN & TEBBVEN & BEFVO laws)!!!
