Gents never weld in the bottom mount like that. He's very lucky to be in one piece, damper compressed gas and oil next to that temperatures don't match. the bottom mount can be unscrewed from the damper

LOL! i fucked it up when putting the steering rack back together hahaha. Ive got a new steering wheel for it so ill fix it by then!
