Patchy rain across the central swathe of the UK, mostly affecting northwest England and parts of the southwest. Dry with long spells of sunshine for the southeast, where it will be warmest, and much of the north. Certainly been nothing special so far, only been limited dry,warm spells in the west of Scotland to date. However maybe shouldn't complain too much given parts of the continent, Germany,Switzerland and France in particular have had to contend with serious flooding and damaging winds over the last couple of months.

The chances that the end of June temperatures are higher than the monthly average is close to 100%, at least 90+% and vice versa. I think the Met should stop using monthly averages in their weather forecasts. Can someone please tell me the average f a week or 2 week period at the time we are actually in?
