This video is a little old, but I just now encountered it, and my son was actually one of the people who anonymously built that thing. I remember watching him on his laptop, asking what he was doing while he was playing on the 2b2t server he kept telling me about. Very cool to see it on video. 😁

Really glad to know it had a history attached to it. Desovered it when trying to quickly get back to where I died. Not only did it give me full freedom to move in any direction, but because it wasn't a narrow strip of road it greatly decreased my chances of running into another player and getting sent back to spawn...

When I briefly played on the server early this year, I think I came across that 1% of excavation while escaping spawn in the -x,-y section of the nether. I remember finding a massive room like those that was larger than render distance and had ended chests here and there.

i hope one day i can do something like this on 2b2t someday, something that helps all the players and make it kind of a safe space where it’s up to people if they want to be nice with each other and if they don’t then that’s up to them but i’d honestly like to see 2b2t have a like community of people who are actually friendly because it contradicts everything the servers about

This actually helped me escapse spawn the other day. It was 5th December just joined 2b2tbafter waiting 4 hour in queue because i am in asia so low queue times anyway i found a nether portal and used barition to reach 35k overworld. Thx to them and then hopped in a portal escpaed spawn then tried baritone to 70k then extremely unlucky me got killed most by player since i was using barritone and got killed but that makes spawn escapse so much more easier cuz i only got killed there once comparing to like 9 times in highway all that space really stops killing.

Finally, an actual decent person in 2b2t who wouldnt waste months of their life to make temporary barriers at spawn
