I did migrate my account and they still tried to force me to buy a new copy. I had to go into my email and search and search and i just happened to find the original email with the activation code and had to provide that to them before I could access my account. (My character's skin was completely changed into a skin I have never seen in my life and it still reverts back to that weird skin from time to time to this day.) Now I still can't sign in without using some sort of 3rd party launcher such as atlauncher because Microsoft says I cannot connect to my xbox live account even tho I am signed in. MICROSOFT WILL NEVER GET ANOTHER DIME FROM ME. Everything this company touches turns to SH*T! R.I.P. WOW

I was surprised to see this video having been posted very late after the Eaglercraft disasters. It was nice to learn parts of the story I hadn't known before. I don't know if this is true or not, but I remember being told that lax1dude was going to make it require a real Minecraft account or something to play to avoid legal issues (as a developer myself it doesn't seem possible to me), although he would still be hosting Mojang's assets illegally. I feel like having a compiler of some sort would have been a smarter approach if middle schoolers, Samsung Smart Fridge-ers, or Tesla-ers can handle that.
