No real review or technique discussion today other than showing you a bit of my thought process behind my home made custom minifigure shelf, but the rest of the video is really just showing off the figures in my collection while rambling.

I love this entire video, including the build details and setup reasoning! What an enviable collection! I hate to be a stickler, but it seems that Jedi Bob does not have his original head. He’s supposed to have black eyes without white pupils. Also, I realize this video is 2 years old as I’m viewing, but the Dark Saber was already included with the Pre Viszla figure at this point in time.

I just watched this, somehow I hadn't seen it yet. Dang, you have a good amount of them! The majority of mine fit within two of those large IKEA LEGO boxes. :) Haha I don't expect I'll ever go back and collect this many. I'm kinda ok with sticking to the modern minifigs that are more detailed, especially the flesh tones.

Haha well I feel like I can’t enjoy my collection unless it’s nicely displayed - plus i’d be paranoid about things breaking in the box without me seeing 😱

I made it from scratch! Just purchased wood strips and built it to the size that would work for me!

Thank you!! Well about 75% of them are from sets which I just purchased the regular way, the older rare ones are from individual sellers on bricklink or purchased at conventions, swap meets etc. something I like to do is when I’m buying up a bricklink order I check if the store has any figures I don’t have, and I try to get one or 2.

Could you make a short or a little video about all of the star wars figures with the Standard Grin face? I only collect sets and figures that have that face and I want to see what star wars has. I know about a couple but not all.

Interesting request! I suspect the easier thing to do would be to check out brickset.com and look at the Star Wars figures released between 1999 and maybe 2004/2005. There aren’t that many and you’ll see the standard grin figs pretty easily!

That is a great number! :) I have got like 400 minifigures in 5 years (I am not old enough for a job😅) but there are figures I have got multiple times (stormtroopers, clone troopers and a LOT of b1 battle droids)

@@davesfty6463 oh man! that's a lot of responsibility - so many factors to consider!! I think visually for me the millennium falcon packs such a punch, all the details and little surfaces I could stare at it for hours - there's also the fact that it's mini-figure scale and does come with a bunch of figs - some of which are exclusive. The Star Destroyer costs $100 less, but for my money sitting on a shelf, it isn't *AS* impressive. It's still an incredibly well done Lego model, for sure, but if I had the money to spend, I would probably lean towards the falcon. What about you though? Are you leaning one way or another? :D

Hehe well this is what almost 10 years of buying Lego and focusing almost exclusively on star wars sets will get you :) I am incredibly privileged and lucky to be in a position to do that, and I definitely don’t take it for granted!

I am a big lego sw fan as well. I think Lego is still missing a lot of cool characters and should considerate releasing them

I agree!! We get so many of the same characters which I get because kids who just started collecting this year want all the main characters so having them in sets is important, but there’s hundreds of aliens, creatures and even just regular people we don’t have!!
