you can fix the curtain issue by replacing your current dark curtains with much lighter coloured ones. the curtains you have are room-darkening curtains, they're specifically made to blackout the room. get regular curtains in a lighter colour then you can keep the curtains closed but still have some light shining through while also blocking the view of your neighbourhood

Filming area is good start but could definitely use a few more things: 1) I think it would look real neat to have your play buttons on the empty space above the table. It displays your achievements!! 2) The 2 canvas that your fans gave go should be right under the picture of your face with an inhaler. It will fill in the extra space. 3) DEFINITELY needs more knickknacks!!! I would just go out to target or even the dollar tree and just look around. I personally find tons of stuff that I love for my room. You could even just go on amazon (I just find it a little more expensive) I honestly wish I could give you some ideas but I have non lol Anyways I hope you liked my ideas! If you just do those few things I think the room will look great!!!

People on the first channel who didn't watch this video are gonna get whiplash from the sudden change in surroundings. This is why you should be subscribed to Danny's second channel, where he likes to get a little goofier, a little wackier and a little sillier.

Just an idea: There are 4 letters in “GREG”. You could put one letter on each shelf to spell out Greg and then put some pictures or other knick-knacks on the top.

I think maybe you should move the shelf over a smidge so we can see the entire shelf. Then you can put the nutcracker between the shelf and lamp to hide the cords (cause right now its being hidden behind your shoulder). As for the walls, you could maybe try to put fanart on the wall. You could have a corkboard/shelf with rotating fanart that you've gotten over the years or use it as subtle merch plugs. You could also decorate for the seasons. So, like, for Christmas, the entire background has been nutcracker-ified. You could also put something on the recording studio door if you want like more room for like a life-sized poster or something.

Okay, on the shelf. I' m kind of going to go out on a limb here and suggest that you might have hung it up upside down. Those keyhole looking things on the back are designed to work such that you once you've attached your screws to the wall, you then need to put the rounder , fatter part of the keyhole over the screws, then and only then you should be able to gently slide the shelf down so that the narrower end slides down onto the screw shaft and 'locks' your shelf in place. So the narrower part of the keyhole needs to be up top for this to work right and screwed in pretty close to the wall. If you did it the other way around, and I think you just might have, the shelf would fall off the wall leaving the screws in place. Give it a try this way. If it still doesn't work , well then I think you might just have yourself a haunted shelf.

You should get some of the blinds that aren’t blackout blinds and still let light in. They fold like an accordion and it should say on the box something like “soft light” or not blackout. Then you don’t see your neighborhood but you also don’t have the Ominous Corner.

lmao, my shelf is on three thumbtacks and it still hasn't fallen.

You could get a sheer or sheer-ish curtain for the background window so you can keep it closed, some light comes in but it's not too bright, and no one can see your neighborhood 😁

Get some privacy window film, a new side table (charging station) and desk with d r a w e r s, a stud finder to hang things correctly + some drywall anchors, MOUNT that green screen to the wall so you can just pull it down to film and flip it up when you don't need it! You can also film against the green screen wall, far enough away that you never have to move your set up. And that's a start for ya.
