@@HuntingwithStu I recall in a comment you replied to someone that you still taught the high rope (or something similar) course at someplace. I googled the name of the place and it was a bootcamp for the Australian Army if I remember correctly. That's cool stuff. I was a TOW gunner in the Corps from 1984-88. +Hunting with Stu Sweet Christ Stu I'd never wade around in that water waiting patiently for a shot. Clear water I can deal with but that real muddy mess nope, all of a sudden every fish that touches your leg is a snake or eel or something, the mind starts thinking basically anything could be in there. Actually only time I ever saw Brent properly worried in the countryside was when we were floating down the Macquarie River and we spotted a Platypus. I thought he was joking, I mean how could you be scared of a platypus? They're adorable. I seemed like such an overreaction that I figured it was him trying to pull another 'Jackalope' kind of joke on me, the city kid. But no, apparently Platypuses have a real nasty venomous sting they'll use against predators. He was genuinely scared. Speaking of Jackalopes. Pippy, for maybe my first 3 or 4 visits, would always show me around his enormously impressive collection of hunting trophies, and also always made a special point to show me his Jackalope trophy that he was so proud of... Ninny finally took pity on me after the 3rd or 4th visit, explaining to me what it actually was. I seriously just thought it was a small rare animal, and getting one with it's head and little antlers perfectly intact like that required real sharp shooting, making this perfect trophy even rarer... I genuinely had no idea. I'm sure he loved that. Anyway hope you and everyone else is well. Take care Stu.
