3 weeks ago week I was hunting at St George in similar terrain to you. It was very dry out there until a storm rolled through and turned everything into slops over night.

Might be time to try the new adler straight pull! Their action seems soooo much smoother than the lever and with the choice of mag fed it might be good for pigs to quick change a mag

Great video mate, a thermal monocular for night shooting is the best option for the price for looking for them. IR scope is the go on a rifle.

Ur so lucky to have that fish spot. We have rivers but their mostly sucker fish and catfish. Gotta go to mountains to get the good stuff

Nice hunt again stu. Mate check the fuel tube inside your fuel tank. Sounds like its blocked or the filter web has fallen into it. Cut it off and make the fuel tube shorter. My quad was doing the same bloody thing.

Best way to start diagnoseing it is when it starts to splutter and break down check the fuel filter to see if its got fuel in it. Then pull the drain screw out of the bottom of the carby and see if it has any fuel in that. Hope this helps

Try having a longer pit and I bigger angle of the pit so it takes more time for them to go up. Also what shot gun are you using I just love the look of it.

Yes mate you are right I just got carried away with things. Yes the gun is a Turkish made A110 Adler lever action. I am currently running Black hawk ammo SSGs through it mate.

yeh got good mates Stu …. Blackie as we call her is back, the black eagle came back again. I think she flies from south TX rockies from time to time. we have a cooler in the barn full of baby pigs from hunts. she is now one of the boys around here...she is going to have her babies her again! welcome home Blackie.. game warden says she is not the normal size of a Black, perhaps a captive that flew away from a falconer. she will roost in trees fifty yards away and eat pig with her young. neat oh! she can come anytime she wants. I tried to put a picture here but it wouldn't take. she is about three inches taller than a truck tire, about five plus pounds. when she lands in a tree it shakes Im not kidding.

Steve's bro Pood spent 6 grand on his setup but it is also Thermal, range finder, video etc. I would just prefer a small hand held night vision so that I can see where the boar is B4 I turn on the olight.

Unfortunately in this area the wild pigs carry a blood disease called liptoschlerosis and it is not good for humans. We leave the carcasses and within a week they are cleaned up by other pigs, foxes, cats etc.

Yes there is a decrease mate, however, they also come out at night on the grain pits often in their mobs.

Yes mate it is a Turkish 110 Adler.

@@HuntingwithStu I haven't heard of that one, but we are getting quite a few Turkish guns in here in the US. Just picked up a couple Girsan Autos. They require a break in, but seem to be pretty good quality. Good luck with your hunting, the countryside you show looks amazing.
