Instead of pulling the trigger more slowly, you should try tightening your grip with both hands. You should find that your trigger pull really doesn't matter as long as you have a vise like grip on the gun so it isn't moving.

Great Advice for The First shot then what, drive the weapon in the key. Unfortunately you’re two hands can’t grip the pistol the same way. I appreciate the comment

@@johnthefirearmsinstructor That is objectively incorrect. I learned this from a USPSA grandmaster. Speed and accuracy are not mutually exclusive.
