Back when the rappers were actually gangsters with things to sing about. Yet there was a lot of gang violence in the 90's, tons of intercity young Black men died do to the Gang warfare. Snoop Dogg was a member of the Crips before he ever become a gentrified Hollywood California type with a kid now. He still has some songs with bad language in them but most the new stuff he does is collabs like with Katy Perry on California Girls and so on.

I was 23 years old when this came out. Yes, I was in the club's, and yes... Everyone lost their s#$t. I actually stopped listening to hip-hop and rap after this because I thought, "well that's it then, can't be topped." This track is forever!
