People like Pac come along once in a generation. A truly singular personality. Of course it was stupid how he died, and it would have been awesome to see him grow and mature, but that's just the way it is sometimes, too real for this world.

Pac was 25 years old when he passed. So I imagine all the trouble kicked off when he's like 23 maybe 24? Eventually he would've grown out of some things as he grew older. He clearly some mistakes. Still number one on my list. His music is still played every year since his death. We won't get to see Pac at age 30 or 50 . I think anyone who has lived to see 30 can say they're not the same person they were at 25

It sounds like to me that 2pac was just another impulsive, prideful fool who reacted to anything without assessing if the situation was worth it or not. Allowing yourself get persuaded into some petty la street gang beef isn't worth your life that's why 2pac isn't here. Spice 1 is 50 or 60 years old and he still impressed with the actions of a dude who left this earth at 25 over some nonsense. This is why the millennial and gen z are so messed up look at their role models. It's not cool to be a coward, but it also isn't keeping it real being a impulsive, prideful person make sure what you'll give your life for is actually worth it like spreading Gods word or your family not every little silly, trivial thing.

It depends on the situation. So by your analogy...when someone or a group of people comes for you in a negative way or out of disrespect...it is reckless to respond or bomb 💣 first? @@EricAhmad When you look at that Orlando Anderson situation for example, that wasn’t his situation to get involved in. That dude didn’t go at Tupac. Tupac and the rest of those dudes he was with jumped him him over some stuff that happened months prior that had nothing to do with Tupac. And that’s just one example. The other story of him talking to trash to GD’s and accusing them of killing Yummy Sandifer when it was the BD’s and other stuff like that. That could’ve ended up worse than it did. Throwing chairs at people and nobody knowing why, etc. Black panthers didn’t teach him to do all that stuff. They moved smarter than that
@EricAhmad
@EricAhmad Жыл бұрын
@whatwhat9004 I heard all those stories. I wasn't there. No one could give an account of what went down in any situation better than Tupac. People tell stories through their own lenses. Do you know of any person in their entire life that never been reckless? I admire Tupac for his honesty. He said his flaws to us. I also heard Tupac did great things for homeless people too...like providing shelter, allegedly. I saw him do speeches with brother Khalid Muhammad. That's very Black Pantherish...all in all...at twenty-five...the man stood for something and died like we all will do, someday. His legacy is built around more of the good things than his flaws....in my humble opinion.

@@EricAhmad what he said with Khalid and what he did after doesnt indicate he knew what he was doing. 2pac was perpetrating stereotypes and proved to be the wrong example. What he's mostly praised for is getting money, most of which he didnt put to good use. He talked bout black communities needing to improve but fully embraced all the BS that fked these communities up. He was a walking, talking contradiction, very talented but clearly tbe wrong example for youth. Didnt Khalid also scold him for some of the ish ge did to his face? Now Khalid was a hell of a ninja

Pac stood for something more than business and money. He was an activist and a rebel, and comes from that background. He wasn’t ordinary like 50 or Nas. Money wasn’t his only motivation it was his passion for music and the world around him. 50 peaked and is a bully still. Nas tries to be what Tupac was, a very deep dude but he doesn’t have the essence. But he’s more laidback. And Pac was reckless but people act as if he was stupid. He was smart but his belief made him behave like Kanye behaves today. And Kanye is super rich too but Kanye he has motives.

I think it was Redd Foxx who said that he hated going out with Richard Pryor because he described Richard as acting like Tupac whenever they went anywhere. He said they went in a club or restaurant one night and the host was being racist towards them. Foxx said all of a sudden he heard shots fired inside the restaurant and it was Richard Pryor. He said Richard moved to the back of the group, pulled out his gun and started shooting in the air. Foxx said they had to run out of there. He said that Richard was always acting out wherever they went if he didn't like something that was said or done. Spice stories remind me of those I would hear from friends of Richard Pryor.
