I was there... Pac did this not because he hated Tribe, it was because it was the beginnings of the East Coast West Coast beef. There crowd was booing because Dr. Dre and Snoop was not there to accept their award, they won a few times... Everybody eles from Death Row was there, it got heated when Daz, already offended by the crowd accepted the award for Snoop and Dre and while the crowd was booing because they wanted to see Dre and Snoop, Daz said some shit like... "And its still Dog Pound for life, BITCH!" The crowd took that as a diss and began booing more while Daz and the rest of Death Row stood defiantly. I also had a back stage pass and witnessed the confrontation between Chris Lighty and 2Pac, Chris stood his ground asking Pac why he did what he did, Pac was listening until Big Stretch told Pac "All talking going to do is catch youna case" once Pac heard that, he quickly walked away from Chris Lighty along with about 50 thugs who all were staring at Chris... It was something I will never forget...

Change the title man. He didn't say "Tupac made Qtip and his crew cry." He said "the DJ or producer was crying."You're trying to make Benzino look bad when the dude has been through enough in the public's eye especially after the drink champs interview. Benzino showed mad luv to tribe at the beginning.

Q Tip can actually box very well

Zino doesn't know the backstory. Several people including Busta Rhymes have said Pac didn't do that to diss Q and Tribe. He was next in line and his music started playing during Q speech. Back then if your music started you rolled up, the technology wasn't as advanced for the DJ to stop or pause it if he made that mistake. In fact Pac reached out to the Tribe and apologized thru Busta

Q-Tip and Busta already killed that rumor on Drink Champs years ago. The sound guy messed up the dat tapes and put on “Out On Bail” while Tribe was still on stage. ‘Pac followed the cue and got up on stage with Thug Life and did the song. After that, Tip and ‘Pac ended up scrapping, and they ended up at Central Booking. Busta ended up helping the two of them squash the beef on the set of Higher Learning. As it turns out, Tip and ‘Pac’s mothers knew each other from Afeni’s Black Panther Movement days. So Busta managed to be a good mediator between the two of them. I don’t know why Zino is still telling that story, because once Busta found out he was going around talking about Q-Tip “crying”, he was a stone’s throw from stepping to Benzino about that until Tip said to chill. And the fact that Zino is willing to brag about all of the unprofessional bullshit that went down at the Source Awards every year says a lot about his character.

According to Busta Rhymes, they had a conversation about the incident and that’s exactly what Pac said happened. Pac clearly had love for Tribe because he never dissed them, even when King T I think his name was went after Pac for this incident. Pac went at King T but he never dissed Tribe even in that song.

2pac was definitely before his time. He was a bona-fide star from the beginning. His success can not be matched. Confidence and charisma are gifts, and everyone doesn't have it. 2pac definitely had that star power.

The Source Awards show in 1994 was the very first Source Awards show and it had a series of controversies because whoever organized it "didn't" organize it so the show was a mess, it was an utter sh!t show where no one regulated anything and some of the people who got on the microphone were openly bragging about cocaine... Then you had The Onyx do a performance where they pulled out real guns and fired them in the air... in an enclosed auditorium... So when Tupac comes out Midway during Q Tip's speech it wasn't as wild as people make it out to be and it definitely wasn't "intentional" like some people made it out to be back then cause they had beef over it. That's the point... the show was a mess and we only have snippets or video clips of the shoe available because the fully recorded show is so explicit that you gotta wonder how there wasn't a mass shootout during the shows and award receptions.
