Take off is an underrated bop that has stuck in my brain when i was in my adolescent ages which I’m glad it’s a precious fragment of my life.

2PM Japanese MVs used to be exclusive content for Japanese fans and were made available for us international fans only recently (well last year I think) Take Off is actually their debut Japanese single. With regards to Beautiful I prefer the ballad version that they performed during their concert 2PM of 2PM..

Is not weird at ALL, this is also one of my favorites because this is a OST for Ao no Exorcist (Blue Exorcist) and i loved that anime, but personally i'll always love i'll be back more

I would recommend “Higher” (2016) and “Guilty Love” (2015) for other 2PM Japanese MVs you should check out! “I’m Your Man” (2011) is also another classic 2PM Japanese song. “Beautiful” was released in 2012, while “Take Off” was released in 2011 as their JP debut song.

With Me Again was written by Jun. K, the one who was making the perfume. (I think you said is also kind of cute) You might like Higher which was also written by him. I particularly love their Galaxy of 2PM album, which has a lot of songs written by the members (Taecyeon wrote some of them too). They have a very deep Japanese discography.

take off is their 1st japanese song and is the reason why they started promoting in japan. it was very successful (being featured in the anime blue exorcist and had many japanese label wanting to sign with them!) jyp saw how good they were doing in japan and decided to prioritise this over being active in korea. they saved jype from bankruptcy (still making the most money in 2017 right before hiatus) but in turn lost their popularity in korea

2PM got me into to K-pop thanks to their japanese music. Ao no exorcist 1st season has take off as the ending song, that's where it all started for me 🤭

OMG, FIFI!?! MYHEART!? IT MAKES PERFECT SENSE. LOVE THAT SONG. LOVE IT MORE I SAY. That song actually was an OST for an anime I was watching - and they animated the characters doing the dance at the end. I love and live for the cheese. It's one of my top faves by 2PM and it's nice to see more appreciation for it! LOL

Despite Take Off being super cheesy. It's one of my favorite songs from 2PM also. It just makes me feel good when I hear it and the song sounds so good! I love a lot of their Japanese songs but it was tough finding their mvs back then. Take off was an ost for an anime. So it was great to see non kpop fan hear this song, love it, and make a dance cover for it.

Not sure if someone pointed it out: You unknowingly(?) reacted to their first ever Japanese MV (Take Off) and their most recent one (With Me Again)! AND both MVs are 10 years apart 🥰 Take Off was released in 2011 so the oldest in 2PM was 23 while the youngest was 21. And in With Me Again they are 33-31 years old 😁 They really age like fine wine 😚

The first time I heard Take Off was when I watched Ao no Exorcist and when the ending song played I was like "wait a minute, this sounds like a kpop group". AND BOOM I WAS RIGHT. not to mentioned I soft-stan 2PM that time 😂

Take off are their Japanese Debut song that was famous in Japan as it was use in a popular anime series. I don’t particularly love japanese songs that release by korean artists but that song was a banger for me. I’m so glad you love it too. Plus, with me again was so good too. You should really check out JUN.K discography- the one whose voice is so unique and does the best runs. The guy is a musical genius and you will LOVE his style, he fuses so many genres and his recent album is so deliciously rnb-esque mellow.I highly recommend his music ¬and him ,especially LIVE!
